Do we even need team SALT's work now? They took too long, now their work will be nearly redundant.Pretty sure team SALT have a work around.

No, your (red)NAND will still be 32GB, just like your sysNAND.Dumb question but once we make a rednand, can we use more then 32gb to install stuff or not?

I personally would rather wait for them, their solution is for certain more stable and destined for end users , and they probably have more than just one useful tool up their sleeve , probably even a coldboothax ?Do we even need team SALT's work now? No tool exists to do this currently, and you'd need a lot of certificate stuff and other stuff. With this will I be able to get myself unbanned?

vWii is currently broken on redNAND, so Wii games won't work.Did anyone try installing Wii VC games yet, eg Mario Galaxy?
Seeing shiny's UI work certainly makes me think they're still on track (and that they have and had have the basics out of the way for a while now). Not to mention @WulfyStylez who mentioned she was working on MLC shrinking. There's plenty left to be had. Any more work is good work, when we've had pretty much nothing before now.Do we even need team SALT's work now? They took too long, now their work will be nearly redundant.

True, but if they don't release until after this becomes quite mainstream then most end users will be reluctant to change over for something only a little better. Look at the 3DS scene with people still using rxTools despite a9lh & Luma actually being WAY better. If Team SALT are not the first with a mainstream solution then theirs won't end up being the established normal one.I personally would rather wait for them, their solution is for certain more stable and destined for end users , and they probably have more than just one useful tool up their sleeve , probably even a coldboothax ?

What are the benefits of unlinking the redNAND and the normal NAND?

there is a certain IOSUHAX pastebin by punderino. It should contain that info, but you will have to find it yourself (against forum rules to link to that as that info is copyrighted)there is a file in the iosu-master folder called bin and inside there is a file called "getfwimg.py", inside that file there is a section that requires 3 keys..
wiiu_common_key = "you have to insert this yourself"
