Hi,
Can I use Alpha Sapphire GTS without private header? I tried to receive a mystery gift via the Internet and didn't get banned. So I figured out that there are some methods that aren't multiplayer such as mystery gift.

Thank you for your respond.

Without a private header, ANY kind of online use MAY result in a ban afaik. Just 1)get a private header or 2)Use CIAs .

There's the pro or the regular, I don't need that for cheats so I could buy the regular if there's no difference for private headers extraction.

You're very wrong. The "PowerSaves Pro" and the "PowerSaves" are the same product. "Pro" is the US version, the other is the EUR version. Hardware-wise and software-wise, they're the same, save for the region.

Thank, I didn't know that. I will buy the regular as long as I'm using the European region :)
It doesn't matter too much, I am almost sure they are able to change your region in ur account if you so ask and say you got the wrong one.

What firmware are you on? PowerSaves is very old and probably outdated.
Huh, no it is not, it actually annoys me when I use my PowerSaves and it forces me to update the software to use it.

Either way, there are several free and easier to use alternatives.
Easier? PowerSaves is pretty convenient to store cartridge data on a computer without a 3DS, and to keep backups there. And don't forget 11.0+ users can have a specially hard time backing up saves without one or an entrypoint. PowerSaves still is more convenient, as it is directly on the PC, no need to copy any data anywhere either.

PowerSaves... I don't use it for cheats, but it's really awesome for savedata backups.

Not to mention you can get a private header from it. Though I've never done so.

Why would you ever need a private header? Just install CIAs. With something like JKSM you can dump and restore several saves without a computer in seconds.

Sky3DS on 11.1.

Also, the lack of a computer is not necessarily good. PowerSaves has a much more convenient interface, better UI, not to mention you at least have your saves if you lose your cart/3DS/both.

PowerSaves is not obsolete. It has its uses.

I personally avoid using in-console save managers as much as possible, tbh.

If someone has a fully updated system and a Sky 3DS and no homebrew entrypoint, then that someone would need a private header.
