I'm using the latest version of Luma3DS on 11.1. When I boot up emuNAND. It all works. But when I start playing a game, it will randomly crash. For example, I'm playing a game for about an hour and then all of a sudden the sound cuts off. (Sometimes a few minutes.) 5 seconds later, I'm greeted with an error, forcing me to reset my 3DS. I know it's not my SD card because it has been working flawlessly for months. This started happening when FBI crashed when I tried quitting with the start button on the main menu. Any ideas why this is happening?

In order to try to resolve the problem we need more info:
What is the error your receive?
What were you doing in FBI when it crashed?

Just a standard error. It doesn't say anything else, just tells me to restart.
As for FBI, I was installing a DLC cia. It's not a bad one either since I've used it before with no issues.

Turn on ErrDisp and take a picture of the screen when it crashes.

Didn't need to. I found the exact error message on google.

no you have to enable ErrDisp (in Luma configmenu) . when it crashes it shows why it crashed

Oh, I'll give it a try then. I'll post the results.

I don't see the option. Is the option for the Dev Build? I'm using the normal build.

Stop using EmuNAND and start using up to date SysNAND + A9LH + Luma would solve the problem...
well when the error is FS-related, would it alone really? though of course I would recommend going with a9lh, since maybe formatting the SD card will fix this issue.

If this doesn't happen on SysNAND, do you have a backup NAND of the EmuNAND and the Nintendo 3DS folder?

So... I should back everything up and start fresh? I would try a9lh but I can't find a guide. The ones I find are for N3DS.

No, I don't and yes.

What is the read speed of your SD Card? If it's slow, you may wanna use arm9loaderhax and sysNAND instead.

Mine doesn't say but it's class 10.
