So I followed plailect's guide sucessfully. I used ninjhax 2.7 and I installed the homebrew launcher .cia

Homebrew launcher loads 3/4 of the time from the homescreen but sometimes freezes on white and rarely yellow screen.

The thing i dont understand is all the other .cia files load flawlessly and when they do the top screen has the black screen (official 3ds logo) then boots.

When i start homebrew launcher it says "hax 2.7 gamma" and "the home menu ropbin is ready" and to me that seems like its using ninjhax to load. But i thought ninjhax was just a way to start the process and wouldnt be used everytime i used homebrew launcher.

----------

My other question is in plailect's guide (9.2.0 downgrade section) after instruction #12 it says "redo either homebrew launcher no browser or homebrew launcher browser depending on where you came from"

I did not "redo" this step. Is this only if u had a partial downgrade or an error?

I dont know if this is relevant info but also when homebrew launcher works and i press start then "x to return to home menu (no reboot)" i always get the "an error has occured. Please save your data in any software currently in use and restart the system" error when the home me menu comes up. This does not happen with any other homebrew apps i have installed as cia or in my 3ds directory.

the "Crash" when returning to Menu is Normal. it kinda Forces a Crash to return to Home menu :P
and make sure you use the 1.2 HBL Launcher and Latest payload/boot.3dsx (incase the guide hasnt update dfor it)

HBL 1.2: https://github.com/yellows8/hblauncher_loader/releases/tag/v1.2
(HBL Changes how the payload is named/stored so when updating delete the old one from the root of your SD.)

Sorry i know i suck but the latest payload.....is that /hblauncherloader/new 11-1-0-34-usa.bin which is on my sd card?

I get confused about the robpin and other app payloads that u can generate on the homebrew launcher website and where each would be placed

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
