Hacking [Android App] 3DS serial number fw checker

Before you ask, this has a lot to do with the 3ds.
And please ignore some of my spelling mistakes xdddd.

This is an app called 3dsversion!
Basicly what it does is to have a list of 3ds'es with their Serial number and their model and version(and region).
It also has a search function, so you can search for the serial number inside the app, and then you'll get a list of 3ds(es) that has matching serial numbers and show what Firmware they will come with(plus what model and region they are).
Its very useful if you're out to search for non 11.0 3dses. I think that it only shows a list from mid september 2016, but im not completly sure.

Oh and one more thing. I think that it only has a list of N3ds and N3ds XL.

Note that I'm NOT the creator of this app.
The creator is the one called Red Panda on Google Plus(i think), if he has a gbatemp acc, i will eventually find out and tag him later on.

He personally gave me perminition to share it with you guys. We are neighbours, after all xddd.

oh. Ok. I think i know what the error is. The 3ds has two serial numbers. One on the box and one that's complete uniqe and random. The one on the box(not the one that is the same as the one om the 3ds) is the one you wanna check.

Mine is QW1054, it's a New Black N3DSXL [Double TN screens]
and came with 10.1.0-27U version

Are the serial numbers hard coded or are you pulling them from somewhere like https://www.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/comments/50ovhy/new_3dsxl2ds_firmware_by_serial_september_2016/

Pretty cool but i find a printed out paper is a little easier to manage when you've got a minimum wage employee watching you at the unlocked cabinet checking all the serials.

So did you get the firmware you wanted?
