i have steelhax working and have upgraded to the latest firmware. I can get to homebrew, but my problem is that when I try to back up or import files in the save_manager, I just end up in a yellow screen. I also tried using JK's save manager but I get the same problem. Any help? :(

Try ( Here ) for this moment.
Untill they update JK's manager or HBL.

Since this requires CFW, and most CFWs do bypass the memory layout randomization, I don't think this will help OP.

The best thing I can come up with, if you don't have another hacked 3DS, use Pokémon X or Y to gen your Pokémon and transfer them via Pokémon Bank. Alternatively, you could get a hardmod / DSiware downgrade and setup a CFW on your console.

Edit: Since you tried JK's save manager, you should have a CFW already. What do you use? Luma3DS should fix your problem, at least it does for me.

Sorry, I am not sure what CFW is, sorry for being such a noob hahaha. Will the other link get me to using the save manager again to import and backup omega ruby files?

JKSM has a Homebrew version, so no, he doesn't have CFW. And he doesn't know what CFW is.

@Oyomar18 The Homebrew Launcher/save manager has to be updated before it'll work again. It makes no difference which entrypoint you use to access the Homebrew Launcher.

I Agree with @FanmadeEndings , @KunoichiZ .
Seems like running The HB without CFW.

Here you my advice then. like what @FanmadeEndings says.

If you don't want to risk the hardmod, or avoid spending money for Dsiware game.
You can use Powersave tool. It support many games with Mod/add features. ( It still option to manage your saves ).

Powersaves ONLY works with cartridges.

I see. After my post, I looked up "JK's save manager" and the first thread I found was one specifically writing about a CIA version. My bad.
I can see where you were going with it though. JKSM was originally a CFW-only save manager but the demand was high for a Homebrew version.
