Ok so on this new update is there annyyyyway at all that there is something I can do to use editors like fantasy life or mhx? That's what I really wanna do. I don't have time to grind to the fullest being a working citizen and all.

@hacksn5s4 Well until a new security flaw is dicovered, it will take sometime, but since 10.4.0-X NATIVE_FIRM works in 11.1.0-X you can use a CFW that use a firmware.bin file and use 10.4.0-X NATIVE_FIRM instead as a workaround for now.

it's hilarious how they keep bringing updates out to block exploits on the 3ds but the wiiu has practically been abandoned of all updates

if you got a house filled with valuables and an old shack with a bunch of garden tools, would you put the same amount of work into securing both? or would you put an easy to pick and break lock on the shack and call it a day?

well with the 3ds unlike other consoles we can have patches on the cfw so we can have hacks on lasted firmwares idk why the psvita does not have some thing like that

can confirm that 11.1 on A9LH is fine my games and homebrew work fine. But my gateway is broken now I can go into gateway menu by holding up on boot but when i go into gateway mode my installed cia games are gone and select button does nothing. So gateway A9LH users Don't Update!! Can I go back easily? to 11.0

@RitchieRitchie I"m not sure about Gateway, but you can try if you are using EmuNand to make a backup first and then update, if it don"t works just restore the older backup.
EDIT: Nevermind it works but Gateway Menu is broken.

NATIVE_FIRM was updated so they have to address that in the memsvc checks in a new commit to NTR for the new fim/sys versions or it's not going to work anyway.

It already uses NATIVE_FIRMs from past system versions, hence why it still works before you update. I'm confused 0.o
The only ones it doesn't seem to support is O3DS 8.0, and N3DS 10.0.
