Koopa's Browser Slotloader

This is a web page I made for easily running BIN and MP4 payloads from folders on your computer without dealing with extra HTML files. It also looks like the Wii U Home Menu.
Download Latest Version (1.0)
Usage
Local Hosting
In order to use this, you'll need your own local host. I recommend using XAMPP. If you've just installed it and don't know how to use it, open the XAMPP Control Panel and click Start next to Apache.
sMsAFvm.png

If it says something about port 80, on windows you can type this into an admin command prompt:
Code:
net stop was /y
Now, download the latest release, and extract the two folders to the location of your server root (On Windows, by default it's "C:\xampp\htdocs\").

Configuring the slots
Included in the ZIP, there is a "slots" folder in with 15 folders named "1", 2", ect. Each of these represents a space on the grid of the webpage.
dIvSbyG.png

Each folder must contain:
  • A BIN and/or MP4 payload
  • An 84px x 84px PNG icon (Optional)
More than one BIN in a folder will leave that slot blank, same with MP4s.
Not having a PNG icon will replace that slot's icon with a premade question mark one.
You can name these files whatever you want.
Example:
3fklo9y.png

Unlike shown in this screenshot, the files can have different names.
These files were placed in the "/slots/1/" folder, so in the first slot of the page, the Kernel Exploit icon and link will appear.

Several payloads are already included with this. The MP4s are more likely to successfully boot. The BIN option is still provided since that's what most homebrews are originally distributed as (If they aren't in ELF format for the Homebrew Launcher), and since some homebrew does not work in the MP4 format, namely the TCP Gecko Installer from PyGecko.

To convert a BIN to MP4, load the BIN payload on your computer, which should show a video player. Right click and click save as (Or press Ctrl + S), and save it as an MP4.

Accessing the page on a Wii U
If you don't know what your computer's local IP is, on Windows you can run this command in a command prompt to get it:
Code:
ipconfig
Under "Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection:" there should be an IPv4 Address, and that's what your computer's local IP is.

On your Wii U, open up the browser, and assuming that you extracted the "browserhax" and "slotloader" folders directly to the "htdocs" folder, go to:
Code:
your.ipv4.address/slotloader
Once the page is loaded, press A or tap the bottom bar (You'll have to click the left analog stick to reveal it.) to switch between showing BINs and MP4s.

Simply tap on an icon to launch it.

  • Initial release.
1.0:
  • Added MP4 support thanks to loadiine.ovh's script.
  • New icons.
  • 99.9% boot rate!
  • Loading screen.
  • Lots of optimizations to the Javascript.

By the way we are already swamped with these web hosting pages! Just thought you should know I presume you don't? its no different from what wj44 or WiiUbrew or even 16 others do from the "Hacking Methods" thread from this page> https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-wii-u-hacking.396828/ what you do is no different at the end of the day, they all load the payload to your wiiu web browser.

Wow, this looks nice! I might use it sometime but for now I am going to stick with Kafluke's AIO Self Hosting Package.

I'm well-aware. FYI I made this a while ago, I just haven't posted here until now.

This has a slightly different goal than the other hosts. The goal of this is to be able to drag and drop your own BINs/MP4s without having to manually edit a text file or deal with HTML payloads.
Please at least read the thread before you criticize the project.

Sure, the purpose of it is to still load payloads on the Wii U browser, but that's not a reason to not welcome new options.

Sorry I think you are misinterpreting me. I know what it does I can read! I cannot see many people using this to have to go to the trouble of dragging and dropping your own payloads for an already made up img., which by the way has already been done several times before which I can tell you using imgs will cause more failures and white lock up screens on your wiiu web browser having to continually to reset your wiiu to get it to work. Why would they go to the trouble of dragging and dropping your own payloads when there are several versions out there that already do just that all they have to do is go the the host site and click on the link. Also I still stress, like I have many times in the past these big made up img works don't work that great, you just get locks ups on your web browser screen! Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to put your work down I just cannot see the point.

That looks lovely by the way but can you please tell me why? cause I'm confused. Your WebExploits 540/551 links, will do just the same as Koopas Browser Slotloader link but you will have to add your payloads to the folders for it to work the same

We spent a lot of time making all the payloads work for 5.3.2, 5.4.0 and 5.5.1 and tested over and over until we could report 100% launch success. Less time was spent on aesthetics. You can use all the payloads in my package with this slot loader. I love it!

BTW, this will likely not work for 5.3.2. @oldsk00l could give you more info on that.

when did OSScreen become good for anything other than graphics
You can fake a menu, up down moves a "cursor" aka a triangle from pixels straight to framebuffer and you hardcode the list in an array so it doesn't do anything funky, press A and it runs that bit of code, 0x31 or 0x10, just add VPADRead and you can do pretty much anything, I'm surprised nobody's done this before

Nope, didn't work for me (5.3.2E) - it opens the MediaPlayer and freezes.

Yeah, the starter pack of payloads are for 5.5.0 and 5.5.1.

You can either get the payloads yourself, or update to 5.5.1.

(Just in case you've been out of the loop, IOSU hax is coming and soon and updating to 5.5.1 is highly recommended, see the 5.3.2 paragraph here)
