I'd say that's pretty irrefutable proof... Really the only thing you didn't show was the installed game in ux0, but i find it hard to believe that someone would buy the game digitally and physically just to throw us for a loop.
There is only on physical US version as well (no "greatest hits version" not that vita has those :P ).

So the only real question then is why does yours work and no one elses does? has anyone tried installing a verified non working sly collection using a more recent Vitashell?

Maybe he modified the module. I has that problem with Neptunia game.

You can clearly see it is not a PSN bought version, why? Replay the video and you'll see that at the beginning I try to launch the game twice, both times I get an error message because HENkaku is deactivated.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@ivoyko I didn't modified anything, I literally dumped the game, installed it and launched it... and it worked...

I just finished installing the 1.1 dumped version, it doesn't work I get a message saying "this file is corrupt (C0-11138-4)"

True on your first point there. That error message, to me, says something went wrong during the dump. IDK v1.1 was running super slow for me last night...

Also yeah i think others had tried the module fix and theirs still didn't run anyways... this is weird

Please disregard that message, I installed the vpk version without unistalling the physical version.

But I deleted the vpk after installing it so I cant test it again... So...

I'm redumping it using 1.1 once again and I'll make sure I do it right this time.

Lol XD

If it works then it's not as weird but still, no one else gets it to work at first then 2 weeks later with same vitamin so many people failed with it suddenly works... Gotta be a Vitashell thing...

Vitashell 7 was made when .vpk were usually only a few (hundred?) MB at most... Now shell 86 and 91 out with much larger vpks... It only makes sense right? Flow has been pushing Vitashell updates like crazy...

EDIT: if you think or know I'm wrong plz ignore me as I'm in my own little world with my musings...

Soul Sacrifice Delta (USA) worked for me.

Not much detail was given by the uploader but there were some 'resource' files in there you'll have to ftp after installing the game.

Sly Collection (1 & 2) | (USA Physical) | Working | v 1.0 & 1.1 |

I have now dumped and installed this game just fine with both vitamin realeases:rolleyes:

Sorry for having a vertical video, didn't realize screen rotation was turned off on my phone until the video was already uploaded to youtube xd

OMG!!! OMG!!!
Amazing Game, now is only wait some years to be translated like some other titles of Yakuza for psp.
Sad. -_-

That's the way I feel towards God Eater, I can finally play it after so long, years waiting for it, and I have finally been really happy playing it for the past 4 weeks... Now that piracy is available I have seen many people posting mesagges such as "God Eater download link pleazze wanna playz now"... And I'm here facepalming myself, not because I paid for it, but because both God Eater games are new games here in the west, really good ones that are going to be heavily pirated and will just ruin it for everyone :(

Back on topic:

Wipeout 2048 | (USA Physical) | Working | v1.1 | No issues

Next games on the list are Mortal Kombat Physical and Conception II, I have a feeling I'll have them working without major issues ;)

@Tony_93 Just to confirm your steps:

1. Activate HENkaku.
2. Insert the game cartridge.
3. Launch Vitamin v1.0 or v1.1 and dump the game.
4. Remove the cartridge.
5. Delete the game from the live screen.
6. Launch VitaShell v0.86 and install the VPK. (I'm now using v0.91 but have not tested on that version.)
7. Play!

If this has worked for you, on all of these games, I have no idea what's different. This process has failed for me for Conception II, Wipeout 2048, Soul Sacrifice and a few others, all NA Physical copies. :/

What version of Vitashell? I'm just curious...

Yeah, that's exactly what I did.

Dumping Conception II from cardtridge now.

Mortal Kombat
| (USA Physical) | Working | v1.0 | PCSE00023

PCSE00023 , it was uploaded by everlando (that famous iso site)

confirmed working, can play the game now!

install the game using VitaShell v0.91

I actually dumped Mortal Kombat using v1.0 and confirmed it not working (upped to ISO). I can give it another go using newest Vitamin and 0.91.

What happens if we backup and restore a vitamin game using qcma? It becomes cripted again?
Anyway, someone tested umvc and ffx with new henkaku? Oh yeap, and zero time dilema.

@Tony_93 any updates on conception 2 or mortal kombat? I'm excited to hear your results...

Dumped Conception II using 1.1 > it did not work just by installing it, I get an error on boot, I'll try sce_module fix and will also redump using 1.0 once I get home tonight.

Haven't tried Mortal Kombat, left it at home.

I'm still at work, but I'll get to it tonight.

;)

I just tried Mortal Kombat (Digital) again; dumps fine, but does not install.....error 0xFFFFFFFE once install reaches 99%. Which is odd, I had it dumped and installed fine with Vitamin v1.0 and VitaShell 0.86, but now it just won't install. Oh well.
