Hacking Bootanim9 black screen

I followed the tutorial for installing bootanim9 with the 9 folders, original arm9loaderhax.bin payload renamed to arm9payload.bin being placed in the anim folder, etc. But i get a black screen when i boot up my 3ds. If i hold L on boot i boot up just fine to my home screen without any splash screen.

Did you just complete the new guide for A9LH? If so, you would have installed the noscreeninit version which doesnt support bootanim9.

I think you're right lol, i just a9lh'd my ds like 2 days ago with noscreeninit
