Has anyone managed to run Vita Update Blocker to access to Playstation Store on 3.60?

I'm running the Vita Update Blocker 1.2 portable on Windows 10 (downloaded from here: https://github.com/iAmGhost/VitaUpdateBlocker)

It loads up and I see this in the comment prompt:
[Mon Aug 08 19:00:30 2016] Listening on 192.168.1.21:8080
[Mon Aug 08 19:00:30 2016] Blocking non-related traffic is DISABLED.

However when set as a Proxy on my PS Vita all i can get when trying to use the store is:

An error has occurred. (NW-10743-5)
"You must sign in to the PlayStation Network to use this application."

The Proxy seems to work as i've connected to it from another PC on my network, however it seems to mess with certificates which is probably why i can't connect to the PSN: http://i.imgur.com/CHRxOJb.jpg

I seem to get the same result above either running the Window portable version of a clone of the GIT in a Linux VM:

Has anyone got any suggestions? i'd really like to buy some games on the Vita before the Window of supposedly been able to connect though the proxy closes

Cheers for any advice :)

Ive tried it in the past and could never get it too work, but they are claiming that its a new update version which its not, 1.2 was released 2 years ago so not sure what thats about
maybe it only works on the last firmware version?, ive been on 3.35 and never got it too work

I can confirm v1.2 works. I used it an hour ago to look to redownload some games from PSN from a 3.60

It's blocked on lower firmwares, and will soon be blocked on 3.60, but it works for now.

I finally got it to work :)

First I loaded the store, then quickly went to settings and disabled the proxy. Going back to the store I was then signed in to the PSN and was able to purchase / download games.

Everything I want either doesn't have a physical copy or is much cheaper than the physical copy, so that was lucky!

Tbh, now is the time to buy another console purely for online, that is my rule, if you care about online and the PSN account. This will be a temporary fix until at some point the Proxy wont work at all, as its happened before and with PS3.

i really just want to use qcma and it was working just fine ysterday but sometime at night when i tried it it no longer worked, so i resorted to restoring the vita, bad idea as now i can't use my vhbl and qcma still wont work

i used nutter fix above and still no go, this wouldn't be a problem if i could use qcma as i barley use vhbl at all but i cant use ftp for some reason and i prefer to use qcma for large roms anyway.

Wow, isnt there a bann risk from this?

A ban for what? buying and legally downloading games?

If you had the PS Store running before the update was pushed out you would still be able to use the store until you quit and opened it again.

From what i've read theirs a couple of days grace period this will work for, then after that your totally out of luck and have to update to get on the PSN.

I'm not sure about CorrellRoy but I'm wondering bout both, ban of account and/or console ~~~~
I'm more worried about the latter because i'm using my account on my PS4. If playing pirated games on my Vita would only ban the console and not the Acct., then there's nothing to worry about.

@CorrellRoy No one has ever been banned, people talking about bans are purely speculating.

Since hacking your vita is grounds to get banned, Sony has never done it... Unlike the PS3, they surely banned lots of people who were pirating and hacking online in the old days.
