Are you dragging and dropping the .cat onto the .exe?

Yeah, i go to 'Downloads' and drag the exported .catz file from there and drag it on to the .exe. Should i have already opened the actual app, or not?

idk prob your os or something. A work around for this is by putting the .exe in the same folder as your .catz file then hold shift and right click, then click on "Open command window here"
After that type in PalicoCheckTool.exe nameofpalico.catz then hit enter

I need some help. I added some items to my item box and some work while some don't, I mean won't let me craft weapons or armor. The method for having the materials in your inventory and sorting the box seem to work. However, I can't make some palico armor no matter what I do it stays grey and won't let me craft it. I tried everything that worked for my hunter gear, even used the transporter cat, but no luck. I want to make the last armor and weapon for my cat, can't remember what it's called but it uses prime hellblade or something like that. I can make the one before it but the one that uses the prime material I can't. Please help.

Did you use the Armour unlocker to have access to all of the armour? Or did you get the materials to craft the armour?

If you're trying make deviant palico gear, then you need to use the transpurrtor to transport the Deviant Hunter Tickets I - X

I'm in dire need of assistance and I'm calling upon the noble souls of this forum to hear my plea....I beat all of the village quests without even touching the guild hall on my old 3ds. I then upgraded to the n3ds without transferring save data (dw there was plenty of self-loathing). Days of brainstorming have led me to save editing. I know it's a long shot but I would be extremely appreciative if someone out there sent me their save file, preferably with as little of the guild hall completed as possible.

Trying to figure out the equipment list by ukke, is the number in the text file the item id of the armor and such? and then you just plug it in the equipment section?

For the armors, they share the same IDs for each part of the set (head, chest, arms, etc.).
So say you want the Leather armor set, add the equipment like this:

1 is for the leather armor set.
150 is actually the rathalos armor set.

there are. charm editing is just not supported at this time
