Well try this

Start the game, hold A,B,X,Y and it should ask to format the save data. After you do that, try the installer again, and make sure you pick the right settings for the system you are using it on. old 11.0.0-33U or whatever it is. And see if it works.

I tried this one myself but no such luck with my booting up Homebrew launcher problem. It doesn't even get to the booting up screen. It just freezes on the game screen and crashes resulting in a reboot. Any advice?

Same thing happens to me. It either freezes, gives a restart error, or gives me the black power-down screen of death. :P

@Sonic Angel Knight I did exactly that. I injected the files needed into my cart using SDVT. I try to boot up OOT3D to use the entry point. It doesn't even show the boot up screen before crashing requiring a reboot of the system. I've only got everything displayed on my post a few posts back but haven't a clue why this isn't working. Is it because I don't have the latest version of the Sploit installer for OOT3D?

The instructions also said to try using fbi, did you try that?

It's on my New 3DS micro SD card in the CIA folder. I used SDVT to install the files onto my Card. The two needed files aren't on the target old 3DS SD card but are on the N3DS card where I have the means of installing them.
Just try this, tell me if it works.

I'm pretty sure that when I put the whole folder into the 3ds folder from the file I tried launching the installer. I installed the payload. I'm pretty sure it finished installing. I then brought my cart over to my Old 3DS where it should be used. Popped in the Old 3DS's SD card and attempted to launch homebrew. No booting screen and the system crashed needing a reboot. What am I doing wrong?
