Good news for everyone that's into ROM hacking/translating!

Tools used to convert videos to Nintendo's tricky .moflex format have surfaced and are available to individual Nintendo developers.

I'm sure those tools will become available to the public sooner or later, but for now make sure to register as a developer and snag them before it's too late.

Exactly! And translators will be able to add subtitles to cutscenes and stuff, so this will be extremely useful for many people.

I tried dropping my own moflex into the MK7 E3 Video and repacked it but it always crashes after the 3DS logo

Might be the resolution as the input file is 1080p

Well yeah, even the documentation tells you that the videos have to be 400x240.

Yeah lol. The documents seems a bit confusing as some parts mentioned that you can go 720 while some mentioned it has to be 400x240

Seriously though, don't sign the NDA just for the video converter. It's already surfaced elsewhere, and if you sign the NDA you won't be legally allowed to release homebrew. This isn't just a EULA that you can break and nothing happens, you can be prosecuted and fined for violating the NDA.

Looking at the screenshot Asia81 posted, and probably violated the NDA in the process, yes, you can make stereoscopic movies.
