First off I had an initial problem to which as I posted my problem there on Reddit it might be of some use.(-->https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiHacks/comments/4q76gn/usb_loader_problem/) But I think my usb just isn't compatible or something. But I tried CFG loader, and it can see my games on my SD card. I tried loading my game and got no luck. The errors I got from it goes: IOS 249 IOS Reload: Blocked ERROR: setting up fragments -2 3 ID Mismatch: [RMCE 01]
Now I used Wii backup manger to keep only game paritition, since I sure as hell don't want 2 gigs full of useless junk on that game if I only want the game. So could anybody help me?

for starters - usbloader gx doesn't work with games on SD, also USB sticks are not very compatible with USB Loaders on Wii so it most likely is your USB Stick.

1. Post a syscheck so we can see what IOS and cIOS you have installed
2. what version of usbloader gx are you using - i believe you go to credits to find that info
3. make sure you have the stick in before you start usbloader gx.

as for cfg loader i don't know - never used it

Ok I tried running syscheck but it goes to bootmii and shows this
Region:NTSC-U
The system menu v513 is running under IOS58(rev6176)
Hollywood v0x11
Console ID: 73975999
Boot2 v4
Found 74 titles
Found 32 IOS on this console
Found 14 IOS Stubs on this console
That is all it shows. So what did I do wrong? Edit: I'm using v1.2.6 of syscheck

are you using the latest cios? i have a feeling that i have this same problem before, although its for the gx version. i installed d2x cios installer v53, set the right ios and my games worked like magic. If your using a usb stick though then that is quite a problem since the wii is very picky when it comes to either thumbdrives or harddrives. also checked the format of your games, if its wbfs there is a huge chance that it might be corrupted.

You could try using an older cIOS (install it in a different >200 slot so you still have d2x) but I'm thinking the fragment error has something to do with trying to load from SD. Defragmenting the drive might also help but I'd also recommend skipping SD or thumb drives and just use a HDD.

MK Wii is under the layer break size for DVDs so it shouldn't be throwing that error because part of the wbfs file is missing. Removing the update partition should leave you with about a 2.5-2.7GB file.

Also try loading the games under IOS250 (you have 57 in it) and see if they work.

I used this guide first. I then went to reddit after my USB couldn't be read. They told me to use this guide. EDIT: Ok so my usb is actually compatible with usb loader gx Its the hp 8gb flash drive.

yeah that ios installer is old, give d2x cios installer a try, then let see the results, on the other hand i agree to GreyWolf, if you have the money for hdd, just go for hdd it'll save you trouble plus you got more space, but just make sure that if your going to buy an hdd check the hard drive compatibilty list first. i forgot to mention that if you compressed the game way too much, it can corrupt your game so make sure that your not taking too much size when compressing a game.

I already installed dx2 cIOS using this guide But, if there is newer installer could you link me to it? Also, you said not too take too much out of the game ISO. What option do i have to have selected for wii backup manager? Since the Mario Kart ISO is 4 gigs, but the game itself is 2 gigs. My usb can only hold 8gb.

oh ok so your using d2x already. that means the cios is not the problem, if your using slot 249 then you should be fine, check usb loader gx, go to settings, loader settings see if loader's ios and game ios if its set on 249, also check where you plug your usb thumbdrive, make sure its on usb port 0(the bottom usb port). you said your game is in 2gig, in usb loader gx check "game split size" try changing it in "split each 2gb" see if that works

Ok same problem like last time, when I try loading usb loader gx(newest version) it hangs for a while on initializing usb then it says checking for HDD or something like that and it has negative numbers next to it. USB loader GX then loads up and when I try to check the Wii games box, it says " USB device not initialized. Switching to channel mode" I don't really know why this is happening. When I used nintendont I'd put my games in my USB in the games folder and it would read them just fine.

change where you plug your usb man, i think youve put it in the wrong slot, use the usb port 0, if that doesnt work, try reformatting your thumbdrive into ntfs, and then put the games on iso format not wbfs see if that works. when you do this make sure you check the Name format of your games, eg. Gamename[codename]. also post a pic of the settings of your usb loader gx if u can

NTFS format can't be read either, it can't be the games since it just can't read my USB. I'll post a picture of my settings tomorrow.

Have you still not tried an actual HDD?
Alright, ok I'll see if I'm able to get one. What's a really good cheap one that can be found mostly in stores. I try not to order online as much, but I will if it's worth it. Any recommendations?

you can go and get wd or seagate, those ones are really good but make sure you check the compatibility site, my seagate 2tb can store wii games and play them but gamecube games does not since its needed to be in fat32 format.

Just repartition it.

The Western Digital and Seagate drives listed on the compatibility wiki should be fine and you can get them at Walmart so it would be easy to return them if you have issues.

yeah did try that long time ago, i made ntfs and fat32 partition in my seagate, put the gamecube games on fat32, didnt work, i checked the hdd compatibilty list and it says there that gamecube games doesnt work, so i definitely recommend people to checked the hdd site before buying
