Hi. So I manage to find a NTR cheat plugin that can do some basic tasks for me such as destroying weeds, and spawning items on button press... But i was wondering if there was a save editor that could do things like allow me access to all the Public works projects, restore the grass, and possibly let me choose which residents I want in my town?

Went into the Sdvt save manager with the animal crossing save importer. I disable secure value rewriting by pressing B and attempt to reimport the last save I edited which was in the back up folder on the SD. Should I be importing my last back up save before I edited? Long story short I got the same file cannot be used because its not the last save data message.

You need to actually delete the secure value I believe, not just disable rewriting. Temporarily install Save data filer or another program which can delete a title's secure value (Then delete acnl's sec value), and then reimport your save.

That's what I do when I get any error about a corrupted save. So if this method doesn't work for you I don't know how to help further, sorry.

You can find it at that iso site.
But JK's save manager may also work since that auto deletes secure values.
Here's a link to the thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-jks-savemanager-homebrew-cia-save-manager.413143/
And Here's a link to the download: https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSM/releases

Can't find savedatafiler in cia form or what not. What's something I can use here?

Alright I got Savedatafiler. But how do I find AC NL? It's just a bunch of hex numbers.
Go to http://www.3dsdb.com/ to find the Title ID for any game you're looking for in the future, but for ACNL it's number is: 0004000000086300
So you'll be looking for 8630.
Delete it's secure value, then try to reimport your save.

Edit: Those numbers are correct for the US version, I assume you're using that one.
