Hacking n3DS - Should I upgrade to A9LH?

Hello everyone.
I've been watching the 3DS hacking scene from afar ever since the beginning, before Ninjhax was released and everything!
I'm still a peasant and use Ninjhax and an emuNAND.
I've been thinking about updating to A9LH lately, but I'm worried I'll brick, because when I downgraded to 9.2 originally, it failed [was lucky enough to have it only need to install 1 more title for it to be complete].
I'm just worried that I'll hardbrick and won't be able to use my n3DS, which I had been saving up for for almost a year, and it would be a shame it not be able to use it...
Another thing I was wondering is if I can transfer my Luma3DS emuNAND saves and games to my sysNAND after updating to A9LH?

If you are careful and take your time you should not brick

use jk save manager to backup saves

Just as a question, does JK's Save Manager require you to open the game before you can import a save?

I'm confused, on the guide it says EmuNand9 will say "Complete RedNAND Setup" but it says "Complete EmuNAND Setup"
Did I do something wrong?

Do you have the latest version of EmuNAND9, double check.
Also, best of luck when installing A9LH, you won't regret it*

I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest, but I already started the format, so if it doesn't work, I can just try again and update it.
