Hey, seeing all these creations I decided to make a Persona Q themed screen for Luma3DS.

Wanted to make the boot look as official as possible. I like the boot animation that shows when you load up a 3DS software/game, so went with this:

Since some of you will probably ask, I went ahead and quickly made some for each 3DS system:

Can the images be displayed in 3D as it used to in MenuHax? I've tried renaming the "imagedisplay.bin" file to splash.bin and it didn't worked... So I'm guessing no? or I need to modify the PNGs as stated in this tutorial?

Oh, damnit... you beat me to it.

Me, I studied a screengrab of the startup animation and resized the elements to match that. But, in my case, I did make the 'LL' versions, for those of you with JPN machines.

I also added a bit of text on the bottom screen to show what it was loading (and made multiple ones, for the 'common' apps that are loaded at startup). I also left a text layer in the bottom screen's PSD for making other names. You'll want Bank Gothic Md BT Medium to match the text, and to do some editing on the E after it's rasterized, and adjust the spacing on some letters manually.

Okay, so after much, much, much editing, I finally have a splash screen that I want. The splash screen for launching Luma was fine and dandy, but I wanted background images for CtrBootmanager.

If someone knows how to take a screenshot in Ctr, lemme know!

Thanks for your awesome screens!
Noob question, how to config BootCTR9 to use different splash screens for top and bottom?

I know it must be "splash = 3" but how BootCTR9 will know where is the right splash screen?

This is how I have mine setup. Here's my luma folder.

Then here's my theme code.
Code:
[theme];
bgTop1=000000;
bgTop2=000000;
bgBottom=000000;
highlight=FFFFFFAF;
borders=C9FFFC00;
font1=FFFFFFAF;
font2=000000AF;
bgImgTop=/luma/splashctr.bin;
bgImgBot=/luma/splashctrbottom.bin;

Notice the bottom two lines point to specific splash screens. Also, dunno if it matters, but this is the CtrBootmanager9 that I'm using. https://github.com/OperationNT414C/CtrBootManager/releases/tag/V9
