POKÉMON ALPHA SAPPHIRE RNDM VERSION
· What it is, what it isn’t
This is a simple hack rom based on Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, in which were randomized a lot of stuff (read below) thanks to pk3ds.
I started working on it only for my personal use, but I found it very funny and at the same time more challenging than the normal game, so I decided to share it with other users.
Obviously, every Pokémon that you can find in this game is not legit, so you can’t trade them or play online.
As the other hack rom, you can’t update to the latest version of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire or you will lose the modified stuff.
I tried to make a HANS patch, but I failed and I don’t know why… If someone want to make it, you have my permission!
I’m open to suggestions and criticism!

· Random list
- Starter Pokémon (only for Luma3ds 5.5)
- Wild encounter: all 721 Pokémon available and increased level
- Trainer: better AI, higher level and 6 Pokémon for important battles (I admit that I was defeated by one of the first youngster of the game…) and sometimes they will give you an item (with a strange empty bubble…)
- TM (not the HM, I’m not so fool…)
- Moves: level up moves, egg moves and learnable ones
- Abilities
- Stats: ±25% of deviation from the original ones
- Pokémon that evolve with a trade, now evolve by level or holding a specific item and leveling up (for exemple Onix evolves into Steelex holding a Metal Coat and leveling up)
- Some evolution items can be bought at certain market (Slateport vitamins market, Slateport misc mart, Lilycove Dept store 3F right)
- The game has a new title screen banner and a new icon
- If you chose May, your rival will be no more called Brendan, but Onion (or Cipollone in Italian or Oignon in French)… don’t ask me why… maybe because of his hat…
- I used the Bust May Mod by Reisyukaku, don’t judge me! If you don’t like it, delete from the downloaded archive a\0\2\1 and a\1\3\3 before starting anything.
· How to use it
After downloading and unpacking the archive from the link below, follow Asia81’s guide (https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-how-to-decrypt-extract-rebuild-3ds-roms.383055/) (“Decrypting” and “Extracting” parts) and, at the “Editing” point, overwrite my files over the ones from your official decrypted rom and continue following the other step (“Rebuild for CFW”) (if you are not understanding, read all the guide I linked and you will).
At the end, you will have a .cia file to install on your favorite CFW (I suggest the latest Luma3ds v5.5, because it support the CRO patches, allowing the randomization of the starter Pokémon; if you are using other CFW, you will not have the randomized starters)
