Hi everyone, I was trying to run the PAL version of Just Dance 2016 on my NTSC wii, so I forced NTSC and launched the game with IOS 250 (which was what the game used by default to launch anyway) but I ended up with a black screen.

I read that some guy updated his USB Loader GX and got the game to work. I'm using CFG loader r78 (which was the latest the last time I updated) so I'm not sure if updating would fix it or where to even find the latest version.

Here's my syscheck:

Code:
sysCheck v2.0.1 by Double_A

That's an old version of SysCheck. This one shows better information. Just Dance titles needs d2x based on IOS57. It could just be the video mode change, too.

Have you went into Priiloader, and selected "Region Free ALL" Setting to enable? And disabled all other region settings in Priiloader (except Region Free All)

Normally that should allow the Wii to run other versions of other games properly.

Uh, didn't see that setting. I saw a bunch of stuff like region free wii games 1/2, region free wii discs, region free something with gamecube, but no region free all. I'm on preloader .29

When you go to launch the game if you select Settings and Loader under the menu you should be able to change the IOS for just that game to 250.

Your second syscheck looks fine except your HBC shows as being 1.1.0 and the latest is 1.1.2. I think you can fix that by re-running the HackMii Installer or making sure your Wii is connected to the internet.

I don't think you have to mess with the region settings in Priiloader. I think those settings are more for running from the actual disc.

I did already try setting the IOS to 250 along with forcing NTSC but I still had the black screen. Does it have something to do with the usb loader? Where can I get the latest version of CFG loader?

Been having the same problem. Wonder what it could be. I've updated my ios and everything still no help.

If it doesn't work when using d2x as base 57 (normally IOS250[57]) then make sure your disc image is valid. Maybe try ripping it again? CleanRip can check the hash after it's done.

So yea that fixed my problem it was the game not my system. A certain pal copy wasn't working. I'd recommend if you tried everything make sure it isn't your copy of the game.

I experienced this problem. When using composite cables Just Dance games just can't play on some tv because they don't have Native NTSC signals. Some tv are able to play pal content correctly and some don't. Try using component cables i was able to play pal game on ntsc tv using component. Hope this helps!

Using the correct version of the game for your region should be the first thing on a problem checklist. Just Dance series requires a cIOS based on IOS57, nothing else.

Also, this thread is from July and probably didn't need a bump. :/
