Hi,

is it possible to cheat on 3DS games with any Homebrew app? I managed to get everything to work, but if its possible i would like to know if there's an option.

Regards,
Twan

Look into NTR CFW, it has a cheat plugin system that can do just what you want. All you need is a plugin for the game you want to cheat on and you're golden.
It cant run .cia's

i don't know if there is any homebrew but the best cheating tool is Gateway's in-game Cheat menu
I dont have a Gateway card, i just have a custom CFW on my system.

I guess if somebody tried, they could create a ROM Hack patch for HANS that'd essentially be cheats. But I don't think there are any at the moment.

1 code doesnt really make sense, is it possible to get Gameshark codes on CFW or do you need Gateway card?
You need a Gateway card. One code makes perfect sense, it just means the creators of the codes didn't have much interest in the game.

Damn, that sucks. They are really expensive. So i guess im going to play without cheats.
You can just make the NTR cheats yourself y'know? You use the debugger. Don't know much more than that myself but if you're desperate, it's worth looking into.

Yeah but i followed the guide and my SysNAND is now on 11.0 and the debugger requires an QR-code reader, which 11.0 doesnt have anymore ive read.
Gateway also dont work on 11.0 so i guess thats also no option.

The debugger doesn't require a QR Reader? You activate it via the NTR menu. Anyway, you might be better finding people who know about making cheats :P I've always just used Gateway so my knowledge here, outside of the basic NTR usage, is incredibly limited.

No. AR3DS uses physical memory addresses while Gateway & NTR use virtual addresses. Codes with AR3DS aren't compatible with gateway or ntr. and ntr = gateway pretty much
Oh shite, my apologies! >o< Sorry OP, I got confused!
