Misc eShop Down, could it be due to .TIKs?

I noticed these past couple of days the .TIK files have been rolling in, after the FBI update, just wondering if the Eshop has been shut down over all this or if anyone has any info.

The mass maintenance has been planned well before tickets became prevalent, people are looking to deep into simple maintenance.

Reason i say this is because one of the major contribution sites that has been listing all these files is also down along with an online converter tool.
