Homebrew How do I make Aureinand boot Emunand

Hi all,

I have just used this guide https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-5-(arm9loaderhax-&-AuReiNAND) to move over from cakes to aureinand.

All good apparently, well it boots decrypt9 and emunand tool but how do I make it boot into the existing emunand on the card by default? i had already set that up and I'd rather not use sysnand if i can help it

Mod please close this thread as I found the answer, serves me right for not searching first

here it is in case anyone else wants it

1- Flash 9.2 sysnand backup to NAND instead of fully updated emuNAND backup (the CTRNAND part).
2- Flash back fully updated emunand backup to enuNAND because the actuall one will be 2.1 emuNAND.
3- Remove updatedsysnand file from AuRei folder in SD card to boot to emuNAND by default instead of sysNAND.
4- Don't format emunand of course

Just do step 3 if you followed the guide like I did

Yeah, open the configuration menu by holding SELECT when you boot AuReiNAND and then disable the "Autoboot SysNAND" option.

AuReiNand 5.x, at least I cannot get sys/emunand to boot by holding down l.

Yes I have a9lh. I have def_name.bin, and r_name.bin in my /aurei/payloads folder, and they work. Holding L though, does nothing

Yep. Even holding it before booting does nothing.

Odd. I've just done it and it works fine both ways too. Don't know what to tell you. It's not Aureinand's fault though. It's user error somewhere.

Redownload 5.1 and reinstall. Only transfer payloads folder

I just re-enabled sysnand autoboot and holding L boots me to emunand, but holding L with it disabled doesn't boot me into sysnand. Weird....
