Homebrew Do you think Nintendo uses homebrew?

pretty sure if they made the console, any software they make to fiddle around with it would not be considered to be homebrew, but instead would be a dev tool
 
I bet people do play "pirate" and stuff to check out ... I eman I remind a photo of the translator of mother 3 with someone form nintendo, playing his translation, so yeah XD

I think they could do out of curiosity, and of couse to see how it work to be able to block the entries

Now this I do believe does happen with not only Nintendo but with Sony and Microsoft when there consoles get hacked. After all how else are they going to figure out how to block people from hacking the device's software AND hardware? They have to test the hacks on there end as well.

That's why they don't patch Memchunkhax properly, they don't want to lose their sweet kernel entrypoint
I think they aren't interested in fixing it right now due to a lack of freehax. As soon as a new freehax comes out, they will try to patch it pretty quickly.
