I installed new super mario bros 2 3ds eur on a USA console and it is not showing up on sysnand. Does anyone know if aureinand is region free?

The changelog for the latest build on GitHub says it is region free but it aint working for me well atleast mine is displayed...

I'm running 4.1 and I can't launch out of region CIAs. I get an error and it restarts the system. I can launch out of region cartridges though. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

Did you do anything in AuReiNand menu? Did you use a different CIA installer other than FBI? Is there any insight you can give me? I've even tried switching to CakesFW and it does the same thing. I can launch the games through HANS just fine though, but I'd rather avoid going into the homebrew launcher every time to play a game.

Some games require language emulation which is not currently supported by the AuReiNand region free code. You can use NTR for that (though it does require some manual setup, unlike HANS) but at least you won't have to mess with the homebrew menu.

Is there a guide on how to set this up anywhere? Thanks for the response I appreciate it. Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but my PAL 3DS is set to English and I've been trying to run Tomodachi Life and Majora's Mask. Games I never had issues with on my old emuNAND.

From the second link: The language emulation plugin can solve the language issues which made some region-locked games failed to play in NTR mode, for example, Zelda Majoras Mask.

Update: You will also need to use the 10.2 firmware.bin, you can find it in the NTR folder (NTR\rei-o3ds or NTR\rei-3ds), just extract that from firms.7z and replace your existing firmware.bin

Update2: NTR will also let you run games at the New 3DS clock speed which can prevent framerate drops in some games.

Think I'm already using 10.2 firmware.bin, NTR booted successfully. And that fixed my issues with MM and Tomodachi Life. Thank you for the help, been trying to get this solved all day. xD Do you know if there is a list of games that have this issue?
