"PSone Loader is a software which allows you to run PSone classic games from the PS Vita Livearea (custom PSone bubbles). It does support custom as well as official PSone games. This software is made of 3 components: The DUMPER, which does dump the PSP and KIRK headers of the 'simple' module (DATA.PSP) that is required for the SIGNER program. The SIGNER, which does inject the fake signed custom 'simple' module into a PSone game converted as 'EBOOT.PBP'. The LOADER, which does patch the pops module in order to allow custom converted PSone games and to bypass license verification of offical PSone games."

This should support firmwares 3.00 to 3.52. Rejuvenate is recommended to make the process easier but not required.

I've not had chance to test it out yet, but I'll probably stick with TN-X on 3.18 for the time being. This is excellent work by TheFlow, but it does look like one game per bubble rather than a loader. Should be great once this develops, though!

It does look complicated eh? Wouldn't be so bad if it were for more than 1 game at a time.

It's a shame TN-X is closed source as it presumably cannot be directly ported. I'd like to be able to upgrade from 3.18 to use Rejuvenate in 444MHz mode as well as play 3.30+ games (such as Phantasy Star Nova), but TN-X is holding me back. Another great thing about TN-X is that it support CD-Audio with custom games - invaluable for games that use CD-Audio but have no official PSN release such as WipEout 2097, Alien Trilogy, Loaded etc. No word yet if this new method support this, but possibly not because the original release of TN-X didn't support it either - it was added in v2.

Still, this is great for people above 3.20, and somebody might make a TN-X-style loader!

Would you say TN-X is better than the new PS1 custom bubble method?

From the looks of things, it seems to be. Not through any fault of TheFlow - this is fantastic work by him, but because TN-X was so good.

The advantages of TN-X are that is it a loader from which you can just choose your game from a menu - copy your PS1 eboot across, select the game from the list and it loads. No messing. Also lets you configure the emulator settings, button config etc., and support CDDA in games. Disadvantage is that it is only supported up to 3.20, and no bubbles.

The advanatage of TheFlow's PS1 bubbles is that it works on firmwares all the way up to 3.52 (this is the whole point of the release), and can load directly from bubbles. Disadvantages include the lack of a game menu (so one bubble per game) and no way to configure settings as of yet (without a PC).
ps nova is worth it i think, it is good fun.

It is - the trial version does actually work on 3.18 and can be installed using the package installer exploit. But I don't want to lose TN-X.

sure the trial was ok, but the real game is much cooler, plus you will really want to be on the latest fw because there are updates which add higher level caps and stuff.
actually i think you can download updates on any fw... so no a problem. but still, there is dlc which is nice to buy :)

remember you need to have an exploitable firmware
if you have psn access on the device, you most likely don't

Yeah, this requires a firmware no higher than 3.52 which means you cannot use PSN anyway.

If you're on 3.57 or 3.55, I believe you need to wait for another kexploit. There are a few private exploits and TheFlow requested one to be released for this, but none have appeared yet.

nvm then im always updated on my Vita. Speaking of the Vita has anyone ever had the Slim Models screen fall out of its socket. I got my Vita on 2014 Xmas and i dropped it accidently 3ft and the screen just came off only the wires still holding it in. I came to find sony used cheap glue to place the screen so i always have a wristband on my Vita now.
