Hi all. I've tried looking up how to update my emunand to 10.6 but kinda struggling, seems like it depends on your CFW etc.

I'm currently on Rei 10.3.0-28E
How can I update to 10.6 to access eShop?

Any Help would be much appreciated, I'm on a Regular New3DS PAL.

You should be able to just use the settings app (just make sure you are really on emunand and dont exit settings once you go in)

Also make sure that you're unlinked. It seems as though if you're not unlinked, it can possibly make your sysnand update as well.

Where are you seeing this? I have updated linked emunand and it has not updated sysnand.

Are you sure people did not exit the settings app in emunand and then go back in (thereby putting them in sysnand...)

Ah, as simple as that. Thank you very much!

Make sure you are in emunand (you should see Rei 10.3 listed as your firmware in settings). Again, if you exit settings (even after seeing 'Rei') you are back in sysnand.

In the past, some users have reported their sysNAND updating even though they were sure they updated emuNAND. These same people happened to have linked NANDs. We don't know if it is related but it is safer unlink your NANDs if you fear this may happen to you.

So it doesn't happen to everyone, but it's good practice even if you aren't scared of it.
