I can't believe that I get this kind of shit from users, when all I plan to do is actually get something done for the scene. I mean, what have they (previous pages of trolls) ever done for the Temp, they can't really say anything themselves.

Yes, I may be a "new" dev to the Wii U scene, and you might not have seen any evidence of work yet, but there's still got to be some respect involved in this.

Also, if you have doubts about me and/or simply hate on me because I'm new, get the fuck out of this thread, drop me a PM, and we'll have a good time in there instead. :)

I totally agree with the respect part, but you've got to realize a lot of the "devs" that come through tease everyone or never release shit. I believe you intentions are true however.

Sorry what is current status of the Wii U homebrew?

I am checked last time on the status few months or years ((?) lol cannot remember) ago and there was exploit but it won't released by 0verflow.
Then there was some guy... Max***? I dont remember the rest and he wanted to make a linux on vWii which then would could not be limited to vWii in essence by being able to run with 3 cores or something ??

I remember some kind of fund raise for buying him a Wii U but then I totally lost track of that "vWii linux and enhance to use WiiU power" thingy and now I am very curious... what ever happened?
Did anything happen in the mean time? Is there Linux for Wii U? And if so which kind of linux it is and which packages work ??

There are now some public exploits for FW 5.3.2, 5.4.0, 5.5.0, and 5.5.1.

There are now a lot of homebrew apps, a backup loader called loadiine.

You can use cheats with a program called TCP Gecko.

You can now load custom stuff(music, levels, whatever you want) with a program called Cafiine, it uses network to send files to your Wii U.
There is a Riivolution-like version called SDCafiine.

Long story short, you missed a lot of things, and a lot of drama... :)

quite a lotin a shortish time......fantastic.....well done guys
 
There's a public Userspace exploit, private kernel and IOS exploit.
You need at least a kernel exploit to load custom levels, maybe it's going to be released soon...

Has anyone ever gotten FSA dumping via Gecko to work on 5.4? As far as I know there is no real TCPGecko codehandler for 5.4, and the PyGecko one has no FSA dumping, at least it doesn't work for everyone I asked.
