Is it possible? I use a gateway, but im hearing you have to install the gba cia to the sysnand as well to get the game to work. And the gba cia can be played through the emunand correct?

Gw doesn't support dsi or gba. You need another cfw for that. I would suggest crt boot and choice between pasta and GW

Yup, pasta is CFW on sysnand so be careful. Install modded AGB firm and you're good to go. If you have any questions with the setup let me know.
nah I think I'll just stick with my gateway. I have my nvidia shield for my gba games. But thanks for the info.

hold up real quick, off topic question sort of. Im thinking of upgrading my sd card, and I know how to do it, but would I have to unlink NANDS when I go about restoring my old emunand to the new sd card?

Install the GBA cia to sysNAND with BigBlueMenu running from Gateway Red Card after booting Gateway into sysNAND mode (hold B and press A at Gateway Menu then press x at the prompt to continue to sysNAND mode with Gateway Rom Menu access). Install FBI cia to sysNAND as well and you can flash patched AGB firmware to NAND with FBI. Then boot into emuNAND and install all GBA cia to emuNAND and they will work from emuNAND. To save a little space, another member of the forums created a tutorial on making GBA cia forwarders of about 500kb each that can install to emuNAND and launch the GBA game.

GW doesn't support this feature

If they are unlinked currently they will stay unlinked when you flash the old nand over the newly created emunand

I used my Gateway for this today. Maybe my explanation is off. Gateway can boot in sysNAND mode with rom menu access. I select BigBlueMenu.3ds from the Gateway Rom Menu which allows me to install BigBlueMenu.cia to sysNAND. Now any CFW or Gateway that can boot you into sysNAND mode will allow you to install GBA cia. You have to patch the AGB Firm on sysNAND if you want them to run in emuNAND. My sys and emu NAND are unlinked. I launch all my GBA and DSi cia from emuand from ReiNAND CFW or similar CFW. I think @viral777's question was can he use Gateway to install them to sysNAND not use Gateway to play them. That you are correct you can use PastaCFW in sysNAND or ReiNAND to do from unlinked nands as long as they are installed to both sys and emu NAND.

@viral777, do you run CFW at all on your system. If so what @Ronhero and myself are saying should be easy to setup seeing you already have Gateway and a means to run CFW from either sysNAND or emuNAND. If space is the issue use GBA cia forwarders detailed in another thread on the forum. I got the full games installed on sysNAND and the forwarders on emuNAND. 39 forwarders takes up only 18.7 MB of microSD/SD card space.
