Run code from Cubic Ninja (there's files and QR codes somewhere in this thread) to dump OTP... from there we can probably restore a NAND backup (if you made one before downgrading) otherwise updating with a cart is currently all there is, but we have the ability (and by we I mean Normmatt) to make a NAND restore from Cubic Ninja as well... also I'd recommend 2.x since they have browsers and a little something is being developed as we speak to take advantage of that fact

You need to clear save data for cubic ninja, (can't remember the key combo rn)

Already did that (combo was L+R+X+Y by the way). Just formatted sysnand & sd to be sure, retrying..

Excuse me, can we get some demo video of someone booting a CFW on arm9loaderhax from coldboot into some HB app?

And then add a simple text screen at the end (maybe with the logo of the respective CFW) reading: "At least we release." with the "The More You Know" jingle playing

If we had working arm9loaderhax payloads. We're almost there. We have confirmed arm9kernel at boot but no screeninit (Almost working) and no firmlaunch (Haven't seen any progress yet)

Basically: since screen init isn't working the firm launches but doesn't display anything on the screen since firmlaunching is different than how the bootrom does things

Did you use gateway to downgrade or sysupdater? Gateway was the only downgrader that let me load ninjhax on 4.x

used sysupdater. I'll update sysnand through cart and then use ninjhax1 from there to go down to 1.0

Yeah, try and downgrade with gateway. I got a Franken firmware when using sysupdater. After you use GW to downgrade then use sysupdater to downgrade to 2.2

I have got into 3ds hacking recently, so sorry if this question is stupid.
Why is no one trying to do this by downgrading emunand?

This has been covered several times in this thread... I suggest you at least read the last few pages to see what's going on

Make an empty "OTP.bin" on the root of your SD card and run the payload.

create a blank otp.bin file on the root of sd card. It should then write to it
it wont boot emunand anyway

Even gateway's launcher.dat refuses to load. Ninjhax1 payload now loads up to 70% and then hangs. I recall reading something similar around here but I can't exactly remember
