powersave on ds games seems to do almost nothing the timning for my regular 3ds with a plain old battery gets 7hrs ps off but gets 7hrs 10min ps on. This is with an r4 card as the dstwo seems to cause the battery to drain by ~10-17% overall on my dslite this was "patched" mode all tests were done with dsbattery test.

Has anyone done _real_ tests on the 3ds with 3ds games that are pretty demanding? Also on a side note does the dstwo+ drain the battery as fast/as much as the regular dstwo. i would hope that it's a bit less as technology has progressed and it should be able to take advantage of those improvements.

You clearly have never used any of the settings on the 3ds, powrsave is an option.

Powersaves is a save editor device. You don't call Power-Saving Mode "Powersaves". It's was confusing as hell.

Also, DSTwo+ will drain power faster I believe, I don't know if it's MIPS processor anymore, and it's at a higher clock rate. Also, flashcarts have never drained power compared to normal carts. In my case, but, I take care of my things, so I wouldn't really know.

I called it powersave, not powersaves. I said powersave as in powersave with battery life thing.

It's gotta be a mips cpu since the company used it in the past, and already know how it works. According to wikipedia the cpu's node is now 160nm vs 180nm. That or they're literally just overclocking the cpu to 396mhz. I wish somone whould show the thing deconstructed so I could try to figure out what cpu's on it. I hope that they didn't just overclock the thing for no reason as that'd just make thething eat through batteries even faster.

The big thing is what power save mode really does in terms of battery life.
