So I decided I wanted custom banner music for USB Loader GX. I used customizemii and my custom music works on the Wii menu banners, but not on USB Loader.
Anyone have a solution?

I used a .wav file, and used the new sound setting under the options tab.
Like I said, it worked for the Wii system menu.

there are many types of wave files, many will make trouble, which sound app are you using? what about sample rate and other settings?
As for customiizemii you better use compression option when adding the wave file.
You can test the bnr files on your PC using the banner player too to check'em out

I've had the same problem. I even converted the audio like customizemii recommended, but they never worked from within USBLoaderGX. They only worked from the System Menu.

I got a question. Why are you trying to run a channel forwarder for USBLoaderGX from within USBLoaderGX? Wouldn't that be redundant?

I just wanted to only use gx instead of going to the Wii menu for vc games(BTW I set gx to auto boot)

The only thing I used was customize mii and a mp3 to wav converter.
I will try the bnr though.

I usually use Audition 3.0 and select Windows PCM (wav, bwf) when I save the file
In customiizemii I select convert to bns when I add the wav file

That's how I have mine setup too. Also, you want to make sure you're autobooting from ForwarderV5.1.dol and not from a standard USBLoaderGX boot.dol. This thread has a download link and will explain more.
