So I've been trying to use the Debugger with Pokemon OR. But anytime I try to actually access the game's memory, it goes all spastic and disconnects. Has anyone else gotten it to work with the PKMN games? Just thought I'd ask in general before I start posting a bunch of logs. :D

Anyone know how to convert gateway cheats to cheat.plg? The source was released but not sure how to proceed further.

Lazy for not searching the thread, @Shadowtrance has posted 3+ 10.4 compatible builds over the past couple of days.

Hell, you only need read the past two or three pages and you'd have the information you needed. So yes, lazy.
How could someone post 10.4 builds over the past couple of days if 10.4 was just released yesterday?

So "past couple of days" was a slight exaggeration. :P But 10.4 was released yesterday and so was NTR 10.4 support. End of story. :)

Do you have any idea why BootNTR still sometimes bitches about the firmware being unsupported? Usually rebooting the system completely fixes it, but damn its annoying lol

No idea tbh, something changed somewhere between 9.6 and 10.2 and it isn't perfect boot now :( (well it was for me previously on 9.5).

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I should really edit that post lol
supports 10.4 but only 10.2 native firm...

Maybe thats the problem? Boot rate is better when the native firm and home menu versions are properly matched?

With 9.5 I am pretty sure most CFWs were using the 9.5 native_firm, and before the 10.4 update both GW and Cakes were using the latest versions and iirc it was Reinand (which used 9.6 firm) that had the most issues with booting ntr.

Could be that, who knows. It is the nature of these kind of things though, they'll never be 100% perfect boot rate 100% of the time.

Tbh this is one reason I wish people who made/posted cheat.plg files would post the damn addresses as well. If i had the addresses I could easily convert them to GW and use them there. Certainly alot easier than trying to convert ar3ds ones anyways.

I noticed an issue with Boot NTR (I dont know if this is normal or known?)

So first I run bootntr on emunand with no problems. Then I turn on the Wifi and run the mSD Management cia. After closing the app boot ntr is no longer working (and running it again results in the error "svc_controlMemory failed: e0a01bf5)
Why does this error occur?

Restarting the N3DS fixes the issue though.

Does the mSD Management cia give a crash error when you exit it?

This always happens to me, I just restart my Gateway emuNAND whenever I use mSD Management.

Yes.
(shouldnt it?)

No idea actually, but I suspect that the dirty exit from mSD Management is why NTR bugged out. I noticed that if I try to go launch ntr after that dirty exit I always get the "firmware not supported" error, but if i actually reboot the system after exiting mSD Management, I can then launch ntr with no problem

OK now I have another question regarding some cheat.plg
I tried the Majoras Mask plugin (from both the Spanish and the Chinese site) and everytime I boot the game straight after NTR's green screen the 3ds freezes. ( I'm using a 3dz Version)
The exactly same happens with the Rune Factory 4 Undub.

Also I tried it with the Fantasy Life Plugin (this time from the Spanish site). The green screen shows up. I can play the game but when I press Start + down (for inf stamina) nothing happens.

Anyone experiencing those issues with these games too?

Wow, it was only released on Tuesday? lol it seems longer than that.
Time flies when you get old... lol
Little did i know my old man wasn't lying when he said "As soon as you turn 18 the years will fly by"... how right he was! Here i am now 32 and wondering where the hell all the time went. haha
