Tutorial Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

Help! I downloaded the correct cia files put it in updates folder and sysupdater but it keeps telling tat the app cannot find the directory

The directory is in the root of your sd card correct? it cant be inside any other folder [i.e. sd:\updates].

How do i put it in the root of my sd card?i downloaded the cia files and extracted to my sd card vis the sd management from the console

Ok i just downgraded my n3ds 10.3 with no issues at all booted perfectly! I removed all my wifi settings and used ironhax and BAM 9.2 thanks alot for the help!

Must've tried about 50 times now using MenuHax on the sysUpdate on two different SD Cards.

Setup:
New3DS 10.3.28-U
Formatted FAT32 Sandisk 32GB SD Card
Formatted FAT32 Samsung 16GB SD Card
Exploit: Browserhax / Menuhax
sysUpdater 0.4.2b by profi200 (The one posted by @julian20)

Either get a black screen or the "Failed to get CIA file info!"

Double-checked everything with the MD5 Checksum and having the latest sysUpdate.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally got it to work!

Out of desperation, I placed the sysUPdater0.4.2b onto my 3DS using ftBRONY. And it actually worked! I'm on 9.2.0-20U. Thanks a lot guys!

This happened to me a lot yesterday, just keep trying and it'll work eventually.
EDIT: I do have a windows computer, I updated my 3ds and attempted another downgrade because cfw wouldn't work.

also what cias did you use and what version of sysUpdater

Right now, it's been over an hour. Yesterday I think it took two.
