Wow things are moving fast here! I'll try your build, Daxtsu..
Daxtsu build, N3DS .cia:

Dodonpachi load!!! Fullspeed, but text is mirrored and controls are fucked up (known issue as vertical display is not working) xD Man it works!
Biomtoy works too.
I'll check pure neo geo games to see if it works the same or not.
mslug4 is working. Oo'
HOLLY SHIT mslug5 is working too!!! Sound is just completely wrong (a full noise all the time) but it works!
You may want to check back a page or two for the test builds aliaspider posted - pretty much all neo roms are working on n3ds with that (kof2003 parent and some of its clones are not).

Yes I've seen this build, but didn't tried it yet.
I had more interest in the Daxtsu build, because I was tired to check what was Neo Geo, and to get a freeze after loading a wrong file. This is promising!

Testing a handful of non-CPS-1/2/Neo Geo ROMs on daxtsu's FBA core build under YouTube on a New 3DS with 9.9, the following all work:
  • bublbobl (Bubble Bobble, 60FPS)
  • cameltry (Cameltry, ~40FPS)
  • dynablst (Dynablaster, i.e. Bomberman, ~55FPS)
  • fantzone (Fantasy Zone, ~50FPS)
  • flicky (Flicky, 60FPS)
  • outrun (OutRun, ~47FPS)
  • pang (Pang, 60FPS)
  • quartet2 (2-player Quartet clone, ~50FPS and terrible sound)
  • simpsons2pj (2-player Simpsons clone, ~46FPS)
  • snowbros (Snow Bros., 60FPS)
  • snowbro2 (Snow Bros. 2: With New Elves; 60FPS)
  • spang (Super Pang, 60FPS)
  • tmnt2po (2-player TMNT clone, ~53FPS)
  • xmen2pj (2-player X-Men clone, ~44FPS)
Basically seems to be functioning very well outside of performance on more advanced titles. I wasn't expecting this at all.

SFIII Run 42 Fps on N3DS.Well on title screen you will get 60fps,but when you are actually fighting, the speed would drop

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I have the full fba_029729 romset to test . I think we can try mame now.

Is anyone going to test any CPS3? If i could I would, but I can only do CIA on my o3ds and I don't have youtube or MHdemo on my n3ds :glare:
That's what eShop spoofing is for. :P

If anyone needs to create an XML for this (place it next to the 3dsx with the same file name) the simplest thing to put in it would be the following:
Code:
<targets selectable="true">
</targets>
This will make it run like svdt, i.e. you choose a title to run it under (YouTube and the Monster Hunter 4 Special Demo are the obvious choices right now). A better approach would be to specify a title for it to run under, but those will vary by region and such. Will take a look at making an XML for running under US YouTube/Monster Hunter, but I don't know the title IDs for other regions.

I'm so lucky to have Youtube,MH4,MH4G on my SD card,right?
I think my Smashbros.4 3DS /Xenoblade3D could be used too.

Well, it works with Smashbros too,but won‘t work with Xenoblade3D

Thanks for explaining it all - I'll grab (re-grab) the youtube app and copy your xml data.
If you happen to find id data for eur youtube while you're looking, that might be handy ;)

@duwen, others.

For an XML that will automatically boot under YouTube or Monster Hunter if those are available, try the following:
Code:
<targets selectable="true">
	<title mediatype="1">00040000000B0F00</title>
	<title mediatype="1">00040000000CCD00</title>
	<title mediatype="1">000400000015FA00</title>
	<title mediatype="1">000400000015FB00</title>
</targets>

In order, that's US YouTube, EU YouTube, US MH4 Demo, EU MH4 Demo (thanks to aliaspider for title IDs). If you have none of those titles, Homebrew Launcher should prompt you to select a title to run under, so you can try something else if necessary (like Smash Bros. as was suggested above). I've only tested under YouTube so far, so I'm not sure what the lower limit would be.

Right iv been messing around with settings and got the emulators I care most about set up perfect screen and resolution wise but noticed once I save the settings and reload it doesn't save so just to make sure I assume config saves are still broken (31/1/15 build) and one last bit of advice one thing I love about gamebatte and blargsnes is the use of overlays aka borders and was wondering if the 3ds build of retroarch would maybe one day support them.....they work great with GBC and GBA emulators

Again, I haven't personally tested the vast majority of these.
