So, they probably do something to the rom. I'll have to look into it.

I'm annoyed. It always, ALWAYS says "Romfs path (INVALID)" in HANS. Yes, there's a "hans" folder in the root of my sd card and yes, there is the .romfs inside.

if you're using HxD, just do this : Ctrl + E, start-offset = 0, length = 1000, hex, OK => delete, save.

Reporting here, Pokémon Crystal injection on Shantae didn't worked well.

About Sega 3D Injection: I tried to inject Sonic 2 on Streets of Rage 2. Inside the file structure, there's a "roms" folder, which is for both Japan (J) and International (U) versions of the game (both versions are selectable on 3D Classics).

Then I replaced both archives with the Sonic2 Rom, even using the same filenames, repacked, deleted the first 1000 bytes, etc

So I booted the game through HANS, and even accessed the initial game menu, with all the configs. But when I choose to Start Game, then it freezes, no matter which version (International or Japan).

The Sega Genesis (Sega 3D Classics) and Sega Game Gear (Virtual Console) roms are compressed. To inject those kind of roms, drag and drop your rom into mdfCompressor found in mdfTools by Normatt.

Thanks for the tip! Although, even compressing, didn't manage to inject Sonic 3 in Streets of Rage 2... keeps crashing.
I wonder if it's because of the size? Even compressed, Sonic 3 is a little bigger than SOR2.

The thing that causes crashes is, the rom is too big. Get a smaller one.

You can inject multiple roms into an NES VC title, and when you boot it through hans you get a menu that allows you to select from those roms you injected. Though you would only have one save file for all of these games.

This only works with NES roms?
I found it funny how NES remix literally holds roms of the games that are part of the remix.
