Is there a way to add files to the game disk via memory editing or something? Cafiine? TCP Gecko.NET?

I'm trying to add the DLC map pack files to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. For everyone who doesn't know, the Wii U never received DLC however, the other platforms did. The plan obviously is to get DLC working on the Wii U. It would be an incredible accomplishment. :D

Anyway, I managed to download the necessary files already. It appears that the game already "knows" about the DLC content since game code for the Revolution DLC map pack exists. Trying to launch a DLC map (via cheats) returns an error code telling me that I don't have the map pack and that I could download it from the eShop (too bad this isn't true).

A tutorial explaining the process of adding DLC for the PS3 console can be found here so I'm hoping to do the same on the Wii U somehow. He basically has the ability to freely edit (and also add) installation files using Windows like you would be able to if it was a PC game.

Thank you :D

You could try and see what files it tries to load once using the cheat method to load the fake DLC via Caffiine and see what it is indeed doing and what not. Then just simply try to copy the files to the places you need them and voila, if it works you'll be happy and if not you'll freeze the game or just crash it.

IDK about WiiU, but a few games I've seen run new files by having entries added to the configurations files, or data tables within the game itself. (SMG and SMG2 do this, so uh..)

If you're able to add coding or data in some file to load additional content, Cafiine'll look and load the files like normal, though that'd require Cafiine and TCPGecko running at the same time :\

I doubt it's the case here so adding the files to the correct locations might be enough :P
The easyiest should be loadiine for that?
No scene release and Call of Duty games are not compatible yet with Loadiine (see Ghosts) :/
Does the map work if you just replace another map?
This isn't really a thing here since script files are associated with the maps and there is a different amount of them. It's not like one map file for everything.

That's a great suggestion if it fully works, thanks. Does Cafiine really load files from the PC that didn't exist originally on the disk? :)
In that case, it might be easy. I just need to run TCP Gecko.NET and Cafiine at the same time which has just been made possible. :P
