Yeah, I get that too.I seem to have some slight crackles on gambette, anyone else?
its also on gameyob, will this be fixed? (if not for gameyob for gambette?)Yeah, I get that too.

What does that mean?syscard3.pce
Just fired up the PCE/TG16 core. This is another one where the RetroArch core isn't correctly reporting the necessary viewport size, so games will look all messed up unless you use custom scaling to display them right. First off, it's probably a good idea to set the core options so that "Initial scanline" is 0 and "Last scanline" is 239. This will give you a 240-line display to match the 3DS. Then use custom scaling to set your viewport to "72, 0 : 256x 240". This should be correct for the vast majority of games.

If i'm correct, It's needed to run PC-Engine CD games (It's a BIOS File for the CD)syscard3.pce
What does that mean?

Well, the only way to find out is to Port the Cores and see what happens with a bit of tinkering. If it doesnt work, it doesnt work. If it does, then hey, another Core the N3DS can handle. Only problem is, the .cia Installers need to get access to the CNub and ZL/ZR Buttons. Im guessing the .3dsx Versions somehow have access to them like PrBoom, GameYob, and I am sure a few others. Need to find out how they have it so the .cia Versions can use them. Would give some Cores and other Emus Devs want to make have more Options.About N64 emulation. Some people like shinyquagsire23 and other guys who knows stuff about the 3ds claims that the n3ds has 804 MHz and 192 MB RAM. If that is correct I'm 100 % sure both ps1 and n64 emulation can be enjoyable on the n3ds with dynarec.
But there is a BIG but.... Someone who has a lot of experience and is skilled like aliaspider has to put thousands of hours to make ps1 or n64 enjoyable on the n3ds with dynarec.
So ps1 and n64 is possible... But it ain't gonna happen obviously![]()

This. Plus dynarec. Then perhaps@Smoker1 I think the Neo Geo Pocket core is also slow on New 3DS.
I don't expect the modern Mednafen Virtual Boy core to achieve full speed on the 3DS (New or otherwise). A few years ago Mednafen's Virtual Boy emulation was much faster (and presumably less accurate) than it is today. At the very least, it would likely take a new core based on older Mednafen source to achieve a significant improvement in performance on 3DS.

Yeah, I remember using the Wii Version of the VB Core. Ran great and looked great. I know someone tried Porting one of the PC VB Emu to the PSP, but then it basically they dropped it. Only thing that happens is you get the PC Main Screen of it with no way to Load anything. LOL

I don't know. If another kernel hack came out the scene would jump again.Retroarch has certainly sped up the process. The 3DS scene itself is much smaller than the PSP scene was (aside from spikes when the 9.2 and 9.9 exploits were released) and it seems unlikely to grow much more beyond its current size. Yet, the relative ease and speed at which the Retroarch cores have been ported have fast-forwarded the scene development (at least as far as the New 3DS is concerned - Old 3DS users are beginning to be left out).
It took years for full speed MegaDrive emulation to appear on the PSP, we went through quite a few different emulators until the current Picodrive saved the day. In that sense though, the longer development of PSP emulators meant that the scene was active for much longer. The 3DS scene will peter out as the year goes on as most people''s emulation needs are catered for and developers move on to the next big thing.

32 fps, that DEFINITELY isn't full speed
