I don't think, cause the roms are split sets, so if you start "captcommu" (usa romset) it also loads "captcomm" (main romset) cause captcommu only holds the files with a difference, all the rest it will load from the main set

Trying all CPS1 sets i have, but then again, like allready asked where's a full list of CPS1 / CPS2 / NeoGeo roms suppported by (retroarch) FBA? Also, never been into FBA, so is there some windows tool to check my romsets and correct them?

Thanks

Thanx for the answer. I downloaded a set that did it for me. all neo geo zipped roms has its own folder with a bios in each one of them. sure, it will take 50 MB more space with bios files. But I prefer to see the whole gamename instead of some shortening..

There is a Cheat Directory Option in the Main Setting Menu. Only thing is, it is not set for .ini Files for FBA. Thinking it only works for the .cht Files for the other Systems
Will there be a DIP Switch Menu later on?

ssf2t.zip works. Guessing hsf2 is more advanced it might need some looking into

Last edited by Smoker1,
Genesis + DX.cia is broken with the new build. :O Catsfc works but not this one. Black screen.

WOW. just fucking WOW! Darkstalkers and Progear (CPS2) runs near perfect at the first built that boot them :D

Edit: SFA3 is not showing any graphics. only sound. but sound is fullspeed :P

Quick Menu > Core Options > Diagnostics will let you set up soft DIPs for games which have them, which should cover CPS-2 and Neo Geo. I'm not aware of any way to adjust hard DIPs in RetroArch, unfortunately.

@aliaspider Is there any chance we could get Core Input Remapping support in the FB Alpha cores, or is this a limitation of RetroArch currently?

Can't load nothing on neo geo. what am I doing wrong. Tried many bios in retroarch core settings and put them in the games folder. I've downloaded many games from different places and none work. Any help?

QuickNES on o3DS, FCeumm on n3DS. FCeumm has better compatibility.
Okay, and mGBA is best for n3ds as of right now right? Also on my gambette i get a random framedrop for no reason like ill be at 59 and then itll just for a second go to 58 is there a way to fix this or is it happening to everyone, should i use gameyob instead?

Try disabling audio sync.

Now I have tried around 50 Neo Geo games.. around 35-40 of them runs near perfect. The others dont boot at all.. Some of the games that doesnt boot for me, but I would love to play:

Blazing star
Ganryu (Musashi Ganryuki)
Last blade I
Last blade II
Metal Slug II
Nightmare in the Dark (Audio but no Video)
Pulstar
Puzzle Bobble
Samurai Shodown III
Samurai Shodown IV

I think RA Neo Geo will be my favorite 3DS emulator when the compatibility is a little better :)

@SLiV3R I've had no issues playing Metal Slug 2, Puzzle Bobble or Nightmare in the Dark (haven't tried any of the other games you listed). Maybe a ROM version issue? Are you able to check if the same ROMs run on the equivalent desktop Final Burn Alpha build? Version 0.2.97.30 can still be found if you hit the "Show Previous Versions" button.

I would like to say that gpsp.cia and genesis+dx.cia are broken with the lastest build. black screen. Gambatte and catfsc are working.

So finally took some time to look into that 2048_liberto and nxengine_liberto emu any help on what to get from files (don't need to know where)
i know nxengine emulates 1 game Cave Story? but any help on what files i need and where to place would be awesome.
