We have not tested this on anything other than PAL, but technically there is no reason why it shouldn't work for other regions.

I have a 3.1.0E model to test on if that's any use to you guys? Or will it already work on any model with a browser / kernel exploit?

You will need to use the webkit exploit to get PPC kernel, then run the browser again and load the binary which does some magic. That's all there is to it. Whatever you do from there on out is up to you :)
Thank you very much, then i need to get this working....

too bad that i got only 2 results after using the exploit from this tutorial (http://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-wii-u-hacking.396828/) while blocking my wii u entirely from the internet...
1. Blackscreen on Wii U Gamepad/TV with some small Stripes (14 times)
2. Wii U freezes while it loads the payload532.html (1 time)

but this is the webkit exploit you where talking about right?

you could update ;).....but not being confirmed is not the same as confirmed not to work, just wait and see instead of going all emo

I know, I know, not gonna risk updating since 5.5.0 kinda ruins chances for quite some time, I just hope at one point, something more permanent can be implemented.

I guess those who want to use eShop are SOL forever. Damn.

Not necessarily, I just haven't heard any definitive confirmation, that's all

It's confirmed that as of right now (time of this post) eShop does -not- work, if that helps :P

*Sigh* That's what I was afraid of -_- Damned if we do, damned if we don't. Two scenarios: Can't update to 5.5.0 because exploits are patched, but can't access eShop on exploit with 5.3.2, my earlier negativity wasn't so premature, now was it?

I'm guessing the eShop application changes each firmware update and a version spoof is inadequate for accessing it :(

No injecting for me for the foreseeable future it seems... Now where's my syringe?

Hey, when you find one, let me have a shot at it :creep: So yeah, that's great we can play online and all that, but no eShop means no VC, which also means no VC injections for future games. Lovely.

More testing is underway, NTSC should not be a problem, though!
Right, I wouldn't expect the exploit to have anything to do with video. It's just a matter of packaging the right files. I'm just trying to get an in. :-) Do they still talk on IRC these days? If so, PM me the room name?
