This guy is very skillful, Crediar maybe know what MN1 & Team doenst know.
Will you stop doing that! Every time i read one of your posts here i get the impression you are being negative about what is done here.
Also, there are a lot of Dev's also that know stuff crediar doesn't.
Just be glad Wii U hacking is getting forward and the dev's that work on it do not mind sharing, not alway immediately, but there is a good reason for it.
Crediar is also holding back on release until his spoofing is ready enough...

What? You are wrong, i always support this thread and devs but is true Crediar is working separately on WIIU scene.

That being said, I have been talking to him quite a bit in the past few weeks, and the firmware spoofer came out of some MCP stuff I told him.

I wouldn't worry about that its just the usual "really really clever" scheme of trying to turn devs against each other in the hopes they start shitting exploits out left right and center trying to prove who is the best*

I'm fine sharing information with other devs (that is what I did :P), I just don't want to be painted as uninvolved with this.

Just wondering does anyone know if the spoofer actualy lets you download stuff from nus or its just to disable the update nag on games that already have the latest updates to go online?

yeah just dont get drawn into the BS, it always happens people start worshipping one dev and slating another despite not understanding anything at all that goes into anything..... im sure most people who even have basic understanding of what finding and utilizing exploits already knows that all devs who contribute deserve a lot of respect, everyone involved in the process :) so many thanks to everyone working on the exploits and everything that goes with them :)

Let's say we get (in a future) Boot 1 & 0 Keys, just for curiosity, what can we do to our Wii U's with them?

First of all, there's no such thing as a boot0 key (boot0 is unencrypted, inside a mask ROM, and already dumped), only a boot1 key. If we do get the boot1 key, we'll be able to reverse engineer boot1. This could potentially find a bug early in the boot process.

I wonder if it's possible to get the boot1 key with a hardware hack, like removing the OTP chip and manually reading the contents.

Actually messing with the Latte is very hard. fail0verflow tried to get it with side-channel attacks, which are where you observe the system externally (things like power consumption, sound, etc.) and use that to deduce what's going on internally. However, I don't think they got anywhere with it.

Early this year they got a SEM, maybe they will use it for "evil" purposes :yaysp:

Is it posible to update to wii u firmwares offline like firmware 5.3.2 by using the current kernel exploit. Because i'm below firmware 5.3.2 But i don't want to upgrade online because i want to use emunand.

Fine. I'll fix it for you...

"No" Use a game to update. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiu-list-of-system-updates-on-disc.372041/

Make sure you're disconnected from the net or block net updates first or it will grab the one from the servers, most likely.
I'm not asking for help i'm asking if it is possible to use the kernel exploit to boot an application or menu that lets you install updates from an sd card or any other external device. Also i know we don't have this type of thing yet i'm just asking if it possible on the current kernel exploit.
