So I recently installed rxtools and setup the profile exploit to launch rxtools, all went fine and it works.

Now the problem i'm having is, I use a nds flashcard to load old nds files, now if I run the flashcard in 4.5 from my sysnand I get a error from the card stating to check the date and time and firmware on the card, I know it works because i've tried it in 10.0 emunand and it boots fine.

The other thing is if I try and run the card from 4.5 sysnand it breaks the profile exploit and I have to launch it through the browser to get it to load.

Anyone any ideas?

Every time you play a DS game, you have to reinstall the exploit.

Does this also remove any installled CIA's? had about 10 on there and now i'm left with just one, the data has been deleted off the SD card too
Not by merely using a DS cart in sysnand, but I think by going into certain settings areas (iirc Data Management) your emunand software can be deleted by the system if the sysnand has the same unique identifier.

Edit: Go to this thread and read point three, and then probably the whole post for good measure.

So if I unlink the nands that shouldn't be a problem?

yes unlinking will fix that. how are you using the flash cart in emunand

Well the only way to get it to boot now is in emunand, booting from sysnand gives me the error, confused on how running the flash cart in emunand breaks the profile exploit in sysnand, nands are now unlinked too

running the flash cart in emunand breaks the profile exploit in sysnand
Running a DS cart clears the DS Profile exploit- every time. This is the expected behavior.

What flashcard are you using? Am I correct in understanding the flashcard software is generating the error and not the 3DS system?

Was just confused on why it breaks the profile exploit in sysnand even though i'm booting it from emunand, i'm guessing the 3ds uses the same part of the sysnand for DS games whether you're in emunand or not, correct?

Not sure which flashcart it is, don't have it with me atm, I solved the cart not booting from sysnand, I changed the date to 2010 in sysnand and the card boots everytime now.

@doctorgoat Have the rxinstaller.nds on my card, it was just a pain having to reinstall it via emunand all the time ( wifi on, load rxtools via browser, boot emunand, load flashcart, load nds file, reboot) but as above i've figured out why the card wouldn't boot from sysnand.

Yeah that was a really slow way of doing things! The point of the profile exploit is not needing to use the internet. Glad you worked it out. Another way you could have done it would be to install bluecardfix.cia, then your flashcard would work from sysNAND.

I never had a problem with my nds flashcard on sysnand or emunand, I just had to reinstall the mset exploit when im done with my nds software to load rxtools
