Are you absolutely sure you're updating Emunand? Did you go directly to system settings app and start the update without exiting it?

I booted GW mode, launched emunand, opened system settings(it said GW6.0.12E) and upated it

Perfect, it should be unlinked. The only reason I had you format was because some people have had issues where the system update would update their sysNAND instead of their Emunand even though they loaded the Emunand and updated it without exiting the system settings app.

What exactly happens when it fails? Does it just hang? Or freeze? Maybe it's the SD card, I've had problems like that before with a bad SD card. I would also get a fresh copy of the Launcher.dat just to make sure.

I idiot used the 3.1.1 version, just downlaoded the 3.3 now, ill report what happened

I launch GW-Mode, then i choose open Gateway Mode and the screen turns black and stays black

Did you update RxTools as well? That could probably be it as well.

Actually, try launching Emunand via RXTools, see if that works instead of GateWay

Might it be about the slot0x25Key.bin?

Derp! I'm sorry, I totally forgot about that. That could be why it isn't booting, although I thought that was only needed for save data. Anyways, you should have four files at the root of the sd card:

RxTools.dat
Launcher.dat
slot0x25KeyX.bin
firmware.bin

Try loading RxTools or Gateway with those files. I can't link firmware.bin or slot0x25KeyX.bin because they're copyrighted and can't be shared on these forums.

That's weird, I have everything set up the same, my 2DS is also on 6.0, and boots GateWay Emunand or RxTools just fine. Anyone else have any ideas?

a strange thing was: Everytime i started rxmode it installed the extra data again
