I did this for someone except I just stuck the cart on my shelf, cheapest game I found handy was splinter cell 3D.....a few months ago cubic ninja was in the bargain bin for £2.....just hope the games your destroying don't turn out to be the next cubic ninja and you destroyed a whole bunch of them

But you can rip headers easily using PowerSaves...
Some people don't have power saves and have no interest in it too

I just finished giving out some headers from games I have (Still have more games) and I want to know if anyone else has figured out a good way of destroying 3DS cartridges. They seem to be completely indestructible!

I want to destroy the games for these users so that they can have a piece of mind. These are very terrible games so not gonna worry about destroying them.

So any ideas?

Eat them. If they still come out intact, eat them again.

Hahaha I use Skylanders Giants. Funny thing is it might be the next way since it has those toys which might lead to an NFC exploit..... Then I would be pissed.....

Lulwut? Who is dumb enough to buy headers. Just get a good header from one game and re-use it on others. >_>

Mostly sky3ds users, plus for the price I am asking I don't see a cheaper way. I mean I am not doing it for profit, I do it just to help people out.

With what? Custom built NFC chips? I somehow have my doubts...

My nexus 5 has built in NFC. You don't need custom NFC chips, just to be able to start the exploit via the NFC feature in a game or something.

ah...makes sense. Still not sure how viable of an exploit point this is (or not). I suppose we'll find out (or maybe not...)

My s4 has it built in also, I have been tinkering with NFC ever since I found a way to get free subway fare with my phone

That sounds like something I want to figure out myself lol. I've always wondered if that would work.

I had to use a friends raspberry pi and NFC capture card to get the initial code then my s4 could put out the code with no problem. I assume if someone were to make a hack it would have to do something similar then release the code

That is very cool :) I will look into what it takes to get things like this running. I think the best way to get smarter in any subject, at least for me, is when there is a goal in sight.

Any tips on where to start once I've got ahold of a raspberry pi? I've managed to scan my card so far, and got the hex and Dec tag ID, and the tag ID (reversed), and the list of technologies. Obviously I am assuming that is not enough to get by lol.

I will start my research. Thanks for sparking my motivation :)

I can ask a friend who is doing more research into it then I am, I have only had luck cloning and replicating, not so much changing things

Mircowave or make a small fire.
Hell tossing it in the trash will work to. I doubt anyone will trash dive and get it out.
