Hi,
Safe mode not working.
is there any tutorial of how to make hardmod ?!
the 3ds is the regular (small)
a hard mod requires soldering so i recommend finding an expert on that to do it for you, otherwise theres nothing else you can do besides sending it to nintendo

You can also use UpdateCDN, you tell which target firmware you want and it will download and pack everything to cia up to that version.
It's using Python 2.7 so it works on any OS.
I'm using it as 3DNUS doesn't work on WinXP.

I've seen conflicting information on the version ID. I've tried downloading 9.5.0-23 for my N3DS using both 'USA' and 'U' as the version. 'USA' creates 105 files. 'U' creates 138 files.

Which one is correct?

thanks :) nice site but it doesn't have the updates, for example omeg ruby or alpha sapphire EU updates v1.2 not there.

Updates don't have unique IDs. They're tied to the original, it's just they have an e instead of a 0, so, to have one is to have the other. For example:

000400000015d800 is the title ID for Ironfall Invasion

You want the update, you just need to change that 4th 0 after the 4 to an e

0004000e0015d800 is the title ID for Ironfall Invasion update 1.1

DLC works similarly, but it uses 8c instead of 0e. In this example:

0004008c0015d800 is the title ID for Ironfall Invasion DLC

When a new update is released, it always takes the place of the previous one. If an new Smash Bros. update came out, it would have the exact same ID as its previous one. Hope that helps, but it's probably going to be encrypted and unusable, since game updates aren't system files. I'd advise just using a second SD card with an rxTools 9.6 EmuNAND to access the eShop. Then just use FunkyCIA or CDNto3DS. They're both good. FunkyCIA leaves more of the original file encrypted, though I'm not certain whether that's desirable or not at this point (especially if you're planning to upload it somewhere).

If an new Smash Bros. update came out, it would have the exact same ID as its previous one (keep in mind the source FunkyCIA uses may take longer to update -- it took a couple of days for it to get Smash Bros. 1.0.5, while CDNto3DS was able to grab it immediately, so, it's good to keep alternate methods around). Hope that helps.

There's no way to pick the version number. The new ones replace the old ones when they're released. You couldn't get Pokemon X/Y 1.2 if you did have a reason to want it. 1.3 completely replaced it. Well, maybe not completely, but they all get placed under the same ID. You want to build an older update, you'd probably have to remove the newer update files manually and rebuild the CIA. Too much work if you ask me, especially without a good reason to go there.

That's quite weird. I have updated the emuNAND of my N3DS XL EU from 9.0 to 9.5 today. Works without any issue.
PS.: I used the last version of BBM

Weird indeed. What is your region?

Edit. Very tired, did not see the "EU" haha
