No offence, but are you really posting this criticizing gateway who are sticking to one card, when a Sky3DS team has released their Blue Button card one month after the Red Button card ? Essentially making a loyal customer pay 200$ for an unlimited version ?

I'm not criticizing Gateway in some misplaced sense of loyalty to Sky, but the fact of the matter is, Sky has phased out their old card, and in their case the card is necessary. Gateway are selling you a branded flash cart that does nothing, if you want to support that, great for you. You're an idiot.

It's not just a check. No. It CAN'T work without GW. Because... payload is encrypted with a key stored in GW card.

nvm i think i gave false hope, the slot1 exploit save appears to be bigger than a normal save slot....so probably not able to merge them....sorry, but you could back it up in the gateway menu, keep it in a safe place and restore it as/when you want to continue

Can anyone confirm if 9.5 works in emunand for the new 3ds? According to one of gw's earlier posts, it did not sound like support would happen anytime soon:

How is the card useless, you still need the card right + the save dongle + zelda 3ds game, on top of that it still has for features than Sky atm

The main issue is, when will there be a more reliable method I'm quite ready to get a Gateway now however, this is good news atleast that we have a release, I can't see people happy enough however, too much complaning about how Gateway didn't deliver lol I expected everyone to be ecstatic!!!









Save dongles are pretty cheap right? can anyone show me what one looks like and any good sites?

Can't you just use the built-in wifi management that's supposed to be on the New 3DS? Or does it only back up the entire SD or something? I have yet to try it.

Except that it supports O3DS 9.2 or lower, and no one was forced to buy a gateway card until the update for N3DS was actually released, they did not advertise "PRE- ORDER GATEWAY 3DS FOR N3DS".

Also, I know that you're ignoring the fact that they said that it's a temporary solution, and they're still working on the entry point that requires no hardware.

They had 2 options :

1)Not release anything until they find a better solution.
2)Release what they have.

Which is what they said in their post, they picked the 2nd option, because of all the hype.

P.S. You can keep calling me a fanboy or w/e, I don't mind.
