Hacking New 3DS (LL) Out of Box Firmware Database

Got my 3DS today.

Japanese, Metallic Blue, New 3DS LL.
Firmware: 9.1.0-20J.
Serial: QFJ104960XXX.
Bought from nippon-yasan.com on 2015-01-12, shipped 2015-01-19, arrived 2015-01-21.

Incidentally, this is my first import of anything. This is also my first XL/LL system; I went from a DS lite to a DSi to a 3DS. I am already so in love with these giant screens, even if I have nothing to play on them.

If this is the dark side, I like it here. I think I'll stick around.

Finally, Friendsxix; I don't think I've said this yet, so here it is. I think this thread is a very good idea, and I'm glad you had the foresight to make it. So, thank you.

i got the LL version instead
i dont know if i should inquire this further, but i rather have matte and faceplates

Quick Question about that.. My wife is German and wants to play a German game on this new Aussie one... would it work? or is the AUssie the same as the Europe one... and plays German games.

One is for my wife and one is for my daughter. My wife is German so these are the real SNES buttons to her, so she wanted it.

They are fighting over who is getting the EMBOSS PINK faceplate.. Im still undecided. I want the glow in the dark Boo faceplate, but could see myself getting purple and finding some Waluigi stickers to put on it.

Ill be using my daughters 8.1 3ds XL as a back up.

I think it should be as these are made way before release and my AUS(tralian) N3DS XL is v9.0
Hopefully Na will be 9.2 or lower

Black N3DS from Amazon JP. Ordered about 1.5 weeks ago. 8.1. Out of town so cant post serial, but I'd say amazon jp is safe to order from as they still have launch consoles.
