Hello people!
I find it interesting we believed a list of roms that does not work in sky3ds, and a possible solution to this rom.
What do you think?
Follow my list:

--------------------------------------------------
- Title: Ultimate NES Remix
- Region: USA
- Sky3DS button color: Red
- Template: template1225.txt
- 3DS/2DS/N3DS Firmware: 9.2.20U
--------------------------------------------------
- Title: Super Mario Land3d
- Region: USA
- Sky3DS button color: Red
- Template: template1225.txt
- 3DS/2DS/N3DS Firmware: 9.2.20U
-Problem:Ejecting Rom
--------------------------------------------------
- Title: Sonic Generations
- Region: USA
- Sky3DS button color: Red
- Template: template1225.txt
- 3DS/2DS/N3DS Firmware: 9.2.20U
--------------------------------------------------
- Title: Shinobi 3D
- Region: USA
- Sky3DS button color: Red
- Template: template1225.txt
- 3DS/2DS/N3DS Firmware: 9.2.20U
--------------------------------------------------

I've tested each game listed with a red button model and USA region roms. Using the template0102.txt, they all play and save fine. I don't think any of these games were added to the 1225 template, but are now in the 0102 version.

That's kind of the problem with a topic like this: The Sky3DS team is slowly adding new games to the template, making them compatible with all versions of the Sky3DS. That means with every new template, lists of games that "do not work" with it need to be edited or removed entirely, as they are no longer the case.

ALSO: I noticed that "Ejecting Rom" is considered an issue for a specific game. It is not. In fact, the red button model will attempt to cycle past any game other then the original 10 used. To stop this, simply hold the red button as soon as the title appears on screen (before the light turns back on) for about five seconds. It will continuously strobe, but it won't switch games, and the game it is stuck on will play and save fine. To switch games again, you can open and close settings, eject and reinsert the cart, or power cycle the system.

--------------------------------------------------
- Title: Kingdom Heart
- Region: USAVEN
- Sky3DS button color: Blue
- Template: template1225.txt
- 3DS/2DS/N3DS Firmware: 9.2.20
- Problem: Cannot start the game
--------------------------------------------------

But the Fantasy Life (USA) is working flawlessly for now. It's already more
than 10 hours gaming hours.

This works for me

- Title: Kingdom Hearts 3D
- Region: USA
- Sky3DS button color: Red
- Template: template1225.txt
- 3DS/2DS/N3DS Firmware: 9.4.0-21

Runs perfectly, my microSD is Kingston class 10 16gb. Maybe your rom was uploaded as the USA version but actually could be the EUR version: The same happened to me and the white error box appeared when I started it. Make sure to search the VENOM one (I downloaded mine by torrent).

Yes, doing that on every game I tried, works and saves perfect (Mario Tennis Open, Animal Crossing, One Piece Romance Dawn, Street Fighter 4 and Spiderman Edge of Time) and the card skips them automaticaly after a few seconds, but is enough to press the button. The only issue is re-inserting the Sky3DS, but doesn't matter to me because I am a very patient man ;D

Thanks for let me know :) I will try to find another rom then.
Also I just realized it, if you change the computer, you cannot see the rom name in diskwriter.
The first time i used it on my bother's laptop, then when today I want to write another rom into
my sd card, I just realized, all the roms that I write before is changed to serial number / code, not
a name like Fantasy Life. It is kinda annoying.

Odd that they would be advertising an eShop game as working.

So, I tried the BBB-P-PKYL on my US system with a red button model, and I think I get the same exact error. I got it to scroll a bit, but as soon as it got to Pokemon Yellow, everything stopped.

It's definitely in the newest template, which means it can burn it to the MicroSD, but it doesn't seem to work at all.

I updated according to their tips, but the "ultimate nes remix" yet unresolved!

I don't know why that would be the case. I've tested Ultimate NES Remix on the Sky3DS DiskWriter V1.05 and template0105.txt, and it works fine for me.

Did you try updating your template, or are you still trying to get it to work with 1225?

It´s all work! with template 0105, thanks !

It's different since this was more about people's personal experiences with the cart rather than just what's on the template. For example, Pokemon Yellow was on 0102 (I'm not sure if it's on 0105), and it didn't work at all. However, if you simply judge it based on template compatibility, Pokemon Yellow should work.

If the maker of that thread tested every single game on the list with both red and blue button carts, and posted their experiences in doing so, they wouldn't be different at all.

Well I'm the maker of that thread. I didn't test every single ROM but neither did the maker of this thread. I actually wrote a message seeking more information about compatibility at the top. Combining efforts makes infinitely more sense as my thread has significantly more incompatible games listed.

How is someone getting Ultimate NES Remix working with 0105? Unless it's the EUR version, it should not be working. A search for CTR-P-BRFE fails on the 0105 file, but it is in the 0102 file. Clearly the entry was accidentally omitted from the new file.

Now that's easy to explain. The Sky3DS team hasn't put cart IDs for many of the ROMs into the template file yet. According to my editors, it's about the 65% mark where they stop showing up. Maybe they don't have valid IDs for these dumps yet. If you want to play online, you have to add the missing ones to the template file yourself. If you have an editor that supports multi-line search and replace, you could do a search and replace on the 4 lines of FFs. Just paste the 4 lines in both fields and then place an ID on the top line in the replace section. Roughly 35% of the games will be using the same cart ID, but most of the online patched ROMs available use the same ID, so, it's unlikely that's going to matter.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. CTR-P-BFRE is listed in my 0105 template. If you need it:

I just re-downloaded it to make sure. It's not there. Maybe you have an earlier 0105 file and they updated it more than once? It's in the 0102 file. I can copy from that if I need it (for the moment, I'm primarily using the Sky with my N3DS XL, so, I don't at this time, just noticed the OP said it wasn't working anymore, looked, and it wasn't there). I'm almost to the point where I can make these myself. I'm just not sure where they're getting some of the bytes from still. They're obviously not from the ROM, so, maybe taken from the MD5 or some other form of hash check?

I don't know what to tell you. I just downloaded it from the official site (or more accurately, FileTrip) before and after making that post, and both copies have it as the one third from the bottom.

Are you sure you are downloading it from the official source?

There's only one official Sky3DS site, so, yes. OK, just checked again, and it's there now. Hmm, maybe the search got typed wrong. Oh well. OK, guess if it's still not working, it's something else. I've got no reason to test it. I've got 2 US 3DS XLs on 4.5, I just run the Sky3DS on the N3DS for the improved 3D.

Yeah i know cause the don't support ehops games only retail cart dumps but this comes out of there template0102.txt
