I think they will give us a written tutorial, and you can rely on someone from the community to post one. I would, but I don't have a proper setup :/

No one wants to see a shaky one handed video lol.
Oops, double post :s

hmm I can get fully access to their gateway website though...
Seems to really be that they r taking their time. Assuming that they didn't work on christmas, it is highly unlikely that they will work on new year either...
So I m kinda getting the feeling that it will be released on 2nd of january...
OR
TODAY. and NOW.

I'd think one of the easier routes would be to set up a torrent for the software if they're worried about bandwidth.
Don't think that would work if it's similar to sspwn.
i feel like your being sarcastic im just trying to see never said it was easy
people have tried. It's really hard and not worth the effort.

Hmm people are discussing a lot that it would be sth like mii in connection to QR Codes. So they need to make up a whole new section on their website for every firmware they want to support. Seems to be different QR Codes for every firmware.
This is merely a rumor and it didnt come from me, just heard it, so dont take me for my word :) Thx

Not only that, but the way a QR exploit would likely work is that it downloads a package from GW's server, and launches it. Therefore you would need an Internet connection as well.

I feel the bandwidth of their firmware.zip is not the server set up we are waiting on

probably the QR code,

maybe smea sold the kexploit to gateway :)

well, either way, I still dont quite understand why they didnt prepare the website beforehand... It should have been much faster, or do you need a month for creating one more QR Part? o.O

you need the data to put into the qr code, producing a qr code image when you have the data takes about 1 ms.

thanks for that explanation. Since it does take so less time... well... :)

and to think its only been exactly one month to the day of this thread starting

how naive was i ...100 pages pssshhh

really? shouldnt today then be sth like a memorial day for this thread just for gateway?

Hmm... I'm curious to see what this setup regards, then. Not condemning them, of course. I just wonder what's going on from a "curious IT" perspective.

Also wondering about these things:
Integration of an autoupdate feature or "alert" feature similar to Wood firmware?
Auto-patching or cheat integration? I'm assuming it would work similar to a PS2's pnach system.
Faux-Streetpass for people who live in incredibly rural BFE areas? Yes, I know about the blackberry streetpass box, I'm talking about an alternative.

I'm just saying, I could see these things being integrated now or some point in the future.

Well wouldnt be a save state implementation a much better feature to make? :) I would seriously miss that, if they start the sysnand support without save states, since I m spoiled big from my dstwo card. :D
