Why shouldn't emuNAND work? They have a working kernel exploit, what's stopping them?

But they clearly say that what they have, is in the video, emunand is not.
Probably they are near to complete it, but NOW is not ready.

emuNAND on an old 3DS 9.x should be no problem, however it's likely that tweaks are needed to get it to work on n3DS.

As someone already posted, this could be a clear market strategy move, that could be read like this: "look, awesome 9.2 support..." some time later: "DAMN! those things plus EMUNAND!!!"

This is clearly a kernel exploit, for what we have seen so far, so emuNAND **could be** just a matter of time. As of now, it's not needed, as it was back in 4.5 time, then they announced it.
The cycle could repeat...

Just because two capital letters are missing in front of the version number does not prove the existence of emuNAND.

I have a 3DS XL with latest FW, will i be able to upgrade a Gateway to the newest firmware only with my computer, or do i need a 3ds console with fw 4.x for that?
reason: if i buy it now i must be able to upgrade the fw of the Gateway, if not possible i must wait and find a trusted seller who sells a Gateway with latest FW when 9.xx supports gets released

That could be the case, they could have disclosed the video intentionally that way... they "have the power" to do anything they want... including modifying those two letters

I think that reffers to the Gateway card not being new hardware and just needs a software update to be compatible with the newest 3ds firmware
It does not reffer to the methode needed to update your Gateway to the newest firmware, i searched around and all i see is youtube videos of gateways update done with your 3ds

*sigh* only time will tell what happens next. Just really hope they dump this before xmas. Having all those features on N3DS means they've advanced a LOT.

Gotta love all the assumptions being made.

"Oh the video has a Japanese device - so the other guy must have been lying when he said they were ordering australian N3DS devices!"
No, we already knew with high probability that they had Jap N3DS consoles since they had confirmed that their new exploit would work on N3DS before the australian release.
Ordering additional consoles for thorough testing isn't that unheard of.

The same goes for all the conjecture and theories regarding emuNAND - it may be possible, it may not be possible. They may be working on it.
The reality is we don't know and no amount of "language analysis" is going to change what they said.
"They can't disclose anything else at this point in time." <= In other words either they don't know or they're not telling.
Don't try to read too much in what isn't being said. It makes you look way too paranoid.


At this point in time, the most logical course of action for Gateway is to do thorough testing. To make sure that they have their shit in order.
They could've pushed it out - but one wrong step and they have the wolves chomping at their heels. (Take note how easily people attacked SKY3DS over their 'restriction'.)

So all of you get a cup of coffee or whatever your beverage of choice is. Sit down, go watch some youtube or play a video game.
And wait untill they're ready to release. Time will not pass quicker if you wear out your F5 button.

Not only that, what he said contradicts the video. You can clearly see a JN3DS, while he said they ordered AUS N3DS.

Did he claim they were getting them to show them off in the video? What a dick.

I don't know this guy, but I read someone who said he was in talks with them and they ordered 4 AUS N3DS's. But that was for testing.
